Whenever I go on a trip, there always seems to be something that I forget. Should we put together a checklist to use before we leave? If so, I think we could divide it up into several categories such as necessary and optional. So just post items that you are planning to bring and I will create an updated list every so often from your suggestions.

Under the "Duh!" category, we have the following:
    Clothes
    Money

    Optional:
Figures (or anything that you want signed)Camera

My mind just stopped working, so that's the list for now.

I've got a list as well. Right now its a C2 prep list rather then a list of what to do at C2. When I get there, I'll keep the list of activities somewhat flexible, since I know I probably won't be able to do everything I want to. I mainly just want to have the experience of being there.

Honestly, I haven't thought much about it. Too focused on getting some finals done for college that will be due within two days of return home. :(

As a result, all I've thought of so far is:

    Clothes
    Money
    Ticket
Cell phone (a must to reach ppl I want to meet ;))
Star by Star, Rebel Dream, and something by Dan Wallace
$20 from someone in my fanforce who is not attending but wants me to pick up the exclusive action figure for them
Star Wars trading cards to hand out to ppl who want them. :)
A box of granola bars or something incase I get hit with a case of "I need to eat *NOW*" and can't immediately do so :D

Besides the stuff from the "Duh" department, here's more:

Star Cases (or whatever they're called) for signed figures

    Personal 2-way radios

    extra video tape

    Fan Force badge

    Jedi Costume

the AOTC soundtrack cd & booklet (just in case I run into John Williams. Hey, I can hope, can't I?)

    Omaha Fan Force business cards

a couple extra paint pens and permanent markers (never know when you might need those)

    plenty of patience

    a sense of humor

    Musts include:

Some sort of hygene kit to keep one's self well groomed: A comb and deodorant are needed at the very least. Some of the rest can be purchased at the hotels, but you save money if you bring it yourself.

Emergency funds: Don't blow everything you have at the show. Keep an emergency fund handy so that if the unthinkable does happen, you aren't up the dark side without a lightsaber Be it cash or a certain amount set aside on the credit card). By the same token, don't keep all your funds (or cards) in the same place either, in case of pick-pockets. Having some emergency phone numbers handy is also a good idea.

Optional includes possibly an extra bag that can be folded into your primary luggage. This can be used to help carry your goods back home. A dirty laundry bag is also a good idea.

I started a checklist thread a while back on the OS's forums. Check it out here if you're interested. Might give you a few more ideas of things to bring.

I was reading another post about checking in luggage at the airport due to insane security at the airports and people packing blasters and light sabers and such.

If you fear you may have problems you may want to ship those items to your hotel now to save time at the airport.

    Just a thought.

    And the most important thing?

    Your brain!

Be mindful of those around you by not yelling out AotC spoilers

    Here are my two suggestions:

WHEELED backpack to carry your loot, but not kill your back.

I got a tiny three-legged stool so I don't have to stand all the time I'm waiting in line for stuff.
