Celebration V: The Clone Wars & other TV talk

I thought we could all agree on that but then I remembered this is an internet message board.

 

This list seriously disgusts me when I look at it. I can't help but look at it because it has been a popular topic lately.
All of those eps aside from Ambush and COTF are my most hated of the show. Senate Spy at the bottom. The guy who selected these eps should get slapped.
I'll start with Garth since he posted it.

 

Look mang, I think we all know that if I had a direct Batphone to Lucas and Filoni, The Clone Wars would be quite a bit different.

 

Aye-aye, sir! At the very least I'll most likely be taking my laptop so I can post any new that comes along. Although with the way TFN runs things, they'll probably be more on top of updates than me.

Lesbians? Sinube reminds me of old times (from what grandpa told me) so it was nastalgic for me. Though the episode was a plain bad idea. Not to mention the title

And those episodes at the celebration? minus two or three episodes...

 

It's a joke. When the episode came out, an number of people weirdly commented that Marcy and Cassie were supposed to be lesbians or something. Not sure where they got that, but that's what I was referring to.

But would it have won all the awards it has...as well as having the high ratings it does?

 

It won two minor awards. The ratings only decipher toward younger ages around 6-14 boys, that's not a lot.

 

My vision of The Clone Wars would be some awesome amalgamation of Star Wars, Firefly, BSG and ST:TOS that would be the greatest show of all time.

Although that gives me an interesting idea for a thread.

 

I am so angry.............that I don't have that Kit Fisto figure..............yet.

 

That's just an assuption they make with the ratings, since that's the target audience.

 

The2ndQuest, did they say anything new to you, or did you just meet them? I know I saw Matt Lanter once at a groceery story and I talked to him, but I didn't want to ask how Season 3 or soon-to-come Season 4 will be. He said he is excited for this new season.

 

Really, so those figures they release that say kids make up most of the audience are an estimate? I've always wondered about that, since I know more adults than kids who watch the show.

You don't suppose adults are underrepresented in those ratings figures, do you?

 

I know, I almost thought that too, but ever since I saw the first pics of Cassie from I think comic con 09, I thought the character would be one of the coolest. I was wrong, and didn't AT ALL expect Ione. bleh

 

The only episodes on the list that are my favorites are Hostage Crisis and Children of the Force. I don't hate the others, I just don't think they're the best. What about the geonosis episodes? I would have loved to see Landing at Point Rain and Brain Invaders at CV. (If I could go......)

 

I certainley thought the Geonosis trilogy was the best of season 2. Lots of Jedi, we see Commanders Jet and Gree, and zombies. It was epic!

 

Anybody heard anything Re. live action series?
