Okay, for all of you unwary travelers heading to the interwebz for Battlefront information, be forewarned that there is a planet spoiler in the preorder information. It looks like the core game can be played early without spoiling anything, but the DLC definitely ties to TFA.

 

Yeah, I think it is cool how they are doing that. Nothing too spoilery, but those that are HCSF can skip the DLC until after the 18th.

 

I guess this is the place to put this, but can anyone tell me if there was anything at Celebration about the movie being in 3D or not.

 

It shows at the end of the Teaser 2 trailer that it's in 3D...hope that helps!

That's good, since I'll be watching it in 2D!

 

I will want to watch in 3D, but I don't know. I haven't chosen the 3D option of a movie since... that's just it, I can't remember if I saw Star Trek Into Darkness and Iron Man 3 in 3D. If not those then it was Top Gun when it was re-released two years ago.

 

I saw Pacific Rim in 3D, only because someone else was paying. It was OK I guess? The movie was great without any 3D wizardry.

 

If a film sucks, 3D won't save it. If a film is good, 3D can sometimes distract (sepcially when it is post conversion, and not created ground-up with 3D in mind). I'll see TFA in 2D first and may be see IMAX 3D later.
