MN Celebrities of Star Wars @ Wild River Festival

CELEBRITIES OF STAR WARS LECTURE AND AUTOGRAPH EVENT

For the first time ever in the Twin Cities, from 10am to 4pm on Saturday, September 9th, 2006 at the Roy Wilkins Auditorium in downtown St. Paul, Minnesota, Rise Media is proud to announce "The Celebrities of Star Wars" during the Wild River Music, Comedy & Film Festival featuring DAVID PROWSE (Darth Vader), JEREMY BULLOCH (Boba Fett), and KENNY BAKER (R2D2)! They will talk about their careers, and sign the ultra limited edition Sid Maurer prints of their respective characters.


The ultra limited edition three print series includes Darth Vader, Boba Fett, and R2D2. These prints are original artist's interpretations by renowned American Pop-artist, Sid Maurer; an artist who was instrumental in Andy Warhol's career. These prints will become instant one-of-a-kind collector's items, are strictly limited to a print run of only 1000, AND WILL NEVER BE AVAILABLE AGAIN!

Cost per print: $150 or all three for a special collector's price of $400. Visa, Mastercard, Cash or Check accepted.
Ticket's to the event: $15.

You will need to purchase a ticket to the event even if you have purchased all three prints. Collector's who have purchased all three prints will have priority placement in line to ensure that your prints are signed. I just got off the phone with the event organizer, and they want as many of us there in costume as possible. They are specifically looking for stormtroopers to escort Dave Prowse onto the stage, the more the better. The only costumes they don't want are Vader and Fett, since the actors themselves will be there.

They are offering us a discount of some type on both tickets to the event, as well as the prints. I do not know what kind of a discount we're talking about yet. If you can attend, please post here with what costume you'll be bringing. They want to have a list of what costumes we can bring ASAP.

What a ripoff that was. 20 bucks to get in, and then you had to pay 20 bucks for each autograph. The plus side was that there was only 10 people there, so I got to talk to all the actors.
