• If you would like a poll posted, please use the Poll Suggestions Thread. It is the sole discretion of the forum managers as to whether your suggestion will be posted or not.


• While VIPs have the physical ability to post polls in this forum, VIPs are strictly not allowed to post polls unless given permission from at least one of the forum managers first. Any offending polls found will generally be locked on sight.


• Any user found cheating in a tournament will be banned and disallowed from participating in the rest of said tournament.


• Please don't post in more than twenty polls and threads at the same time, since more will be considered spamming.

As of today, forum rules have been added to the index. I haven't had too many problems, but I thought I would put them here to make them clear and accessible to all.

The locking is getting annoying

 

Last month we added this previously unwritten rule into Census & Games to make it clearer for everybody. Because Census & Games has this very game aspect to it, when somebody votes and posts in 25+ (often more) polls in a row, it becomes highly annoying for the regulars of the non-poll threads. It is considered spamming. Please don't be afraid to vote in a number of polls at one time - just don't go overboard.

Of course. Vote away.

You may vote in an unlimited amount; but just do it over a couple of days so that it doesn't backlog everything. We're only concerned about it when it becomes one, large, evil, overloaded, bunch.

 

Or when people complain about your colors

 

Actually, bright neon colours are quite welcome - as then people will want to vote in the poll after you so that they aren't blinded every time they're in the thread page. And more votes are always good.
