Des Moi, IA Central Iowa Conscriptees

    Looking for costuming fans in the DM area who have authentic stormtrooper/TIE Pilot armor.

    My son celebrates a birthday before Ep. III comes out, and he's assured me he is having a SW theme. I'd like to have a few troopers show up at the party. I'd be willing to reimburse them for their time and energy.

    Now, before someone tells me to check the 501st website, I already have. There's only one central Iowa member, and we're friends. I'm hoping his schedule allows him to make it, but I'd like to have at least two troopers show up.

    Can anyone help?

    A guy that I work with knows a guy who has made his own strormtrooper armor. I don't know if it's the 501st guy you spoke of, but I'll try to get him to contact you. I have tried to get him to go to meetup.com, but I haven't seen or heard anything about him on there.
