We used to do this at every meeting and I just wanted to revive this with the group.

The CVFB still needs the normal deal. Bring a can or a box or whatever, it doesn't seem like much but as a group we can help some folks get fed.

You can check out their site here: Central Virginia Food Bank

You live in a big house on a big salary. John lives in a tiny shed on a $100 (per month) allowance.

were actually doing a big month long can food drive for the VA book bank at my work this next month (i'm organizing it) we are kicking it off this Friday on Halloween with all our employees dressing up in costume, handing out candy to customers as they come in the store and handing out info about the food back.. we are also each donating at lest one can of food each...

We will be concluding the drive on the 22nd of November with a festival with live music and food... maybe we could get some FF guys with costumes to come out to support the drive that night? Just a thought.... even if not if you have some food to donate this month please bring it by the Circuit City at Broad and Gaskins and help us with our drive!

I'd take you up on the offer Troy, but I think being down there, I would have to open up and play with all those Star Wars toys!!!

I think Danny did a great thing last week with Y101 and helping out with their homeless drive. I thought Tony was kidding but quite seriously, he has a homeless guy living in his shed! We could always adopt him for our food drive! Or we could adopt James he's as vagrant & vagabond as any homeless dude I've seen. Where ya At?
