change on edditing time: Your vote please!

My vote goes for the 24 hours.

My reasons for this choice are already well known, no need for further explanations.

 

I voted fot the 180 thing. Personally it really doesn't make much of a difference to me, as long as it's over 90 minutes.

Whatever you decide is fine by me.

Ei. a Limit is a limit...
in your logic. if i aprove 180m then you would tell me to aprove 210m. And if i aprove 210m you would tell me to aprove 240m... and so on.
Not my intention to do so.

I already said i vote for 90m so i am already making a 60m/70m tolerance limit. and not 20m or 30m.

Well Dutch and English sometimes look a like so I've the tendency to write certain English words the Dutch way, oh well atleast I have an excuse...

This is just another reason why the damn editing time should be 24h!

No... that is why it shouldn't!
So that ppl can not change what they stated, and to witch other ppl already reacted at.

Like for example, when i and darkwoman discussed. I'm not saying that the other person would really change what she said in order to invalidate the other's reply. But in a discussion having her edits on the post. I can go and read back again, and be with the sensation as suspitious of her changing her previous statements.

That's the kind of situattions i would want to avoid. That anyone could be acused of changing their previous posts in a discussion.

 

Erm.. in case you haven't noticed, White.. when you edit a post the number of edits and time of the last edit shows up on the post upper bar...

Just a though to keep in mind.

 

And? Does that prevent ppl to edit it?
Keeping in mind the example i gave..
How can you be sure then, of what ppl had stated before? Even if you can see it was edited 23hrs later.

 

If you're so concerned with people altering their posts, you'd probably like the Star Wars Galaxies boards that don't even have an edit option.

Já estava marcado 4 votos dias antes do wildsyco fazer o post dele a votar nos 90m. Cá para mim ele n seleccionou a opcao, apenas escreveu. Tal como a nin, no poll de icons.

Bem, parece-me que por enquanto vai ficar tudo na mesma, com os 90 minutos de edit...

Já agora, para que seja tudo mais simples, acho que o melhor é todos dizerem que já votaram, postando aqui... 8 dos que votaram fizeram isto, 2 não... Se bem que não seja muito importante, sempre ajuda a saber quem é que falta votar.
