Oceania Channel 9 SUCKS (Survivor)

My friend told me that channel 9 will not show Survivor IV until after the Australian version!

What the bloody hell is that? Everyone will know the winner by then!

Let's petition channel 9!

I can't understand why for example, they can't do the following:

8:30 Australian Survivor
9:30 Survivor IV

 

Probably because they can get more money from having 40 weeks of one episode than 20 weeks of two episodes. Especially since they'd be going up against things like the Winter Olympics soon, and the Panel later on.

 

sheesh, its all about the money these days.

 

I think we should have Australian Survivor on a Monday/Tuesday and Survivor IV on a Wednesday/Thursday.

I don't think I could watch two different Survivor's in a two hour block. And I'm very sceptical as to if OZ Surivior will be good or not.

 

I think they should show them both at the same time, preferably in some deep, dark forgotten cavern where it doesn't bother ppl who actually have taste.

 

Channel 9 really have no idea. They'll force Aussie Fools down the throats of NSW but still refuse to show rugby league in Victoria at a decent time.

Even the sold out trial game for the Rabbitoahs is going to be shown live here, but won't even get a 2AM showing in Melbourne.

 

Hmm, lucky survivior sucks ass...ok, i was addicted to the first one.

That's why, when in Victoria, it's most necessary to gain access to a magical, radical invention called..."pay tv"..

 

Yeah, everyone will know the winner by then. Hopefully that'll be a good excuse for them not to play it at all! And replace it with some actual worthwhile TV! Like Farscape at a better time!

Yeah, Channel Nine blows totally. Remember, these idiots who came up with this programming decision are probably the same ones who thought we are incapable of making an informed decision regarding whether a program (Band of Brothers) offends our sensibilities. That was originally scheduled to go to air October 2001, but in the aftermath of September 11, the twits at 9 decided we were too sensitive to a true story of comradeship.

So, yeah, I think thy're a bunch of morons.....

 

Maybe we could petition DA and he'll take it to the top honchos.

I know that there was something started on aus.tv a few weeks back. About the time of the end of Survivor: Africa. Have a look on there if you can.

 

Hmm yeah i think survivor sucks like hell its so boring. I mean look at what the japanese have for entertainment.

 

This is a hard decision-should I watch the US version and not really care who wins because the "green and gold" is not involved. Or should I watch the Aussie version and laugh at the stupid things they do.

I think in order to boycott channel 9, I'll watch 7 instead and watch "The Mole" because at least the viewer has to think

So word around the crawlspace @ Ch9 is that they're not screening S4 at all, for the very reason stated above (pointless since the winner will be obvious).

Not confirmed by any stretch of the imagination but it wouldn't suprise me....the programming dept has never been the sharpest pencil in the pack

I just read in the Sunday Sun that Channel 9 are NOT going to show Survivor 4 at ALL!

I was just thinking, bloody hell - why can't they even show it at a midnight time-slot, at least then people can tape it...

I guess after getting the rights to AFL, they have no more money...
