ST Character Reunions You Want in IX

Well we really don't got much left to work with but here goes nothing...

Han and Luke: Pretty much impossible, but it's still one thing I'm dreaming would happen some how. Even if it was a flashback.

Lando and Chewie
Lando and Nien Nunb
Anakin and Luke
Obi Wan and Luke: Though RJ's reasons for not having this in TLJ are pretty good.
Anakin and Obiwan
Lando and Han: Again pretty much impossible without Han showing up as a ghost which won't happen.
Lando and Luke: No reason for this one.

Besides the first two Lando's and Anakin and Luke, everything else is 0 chance which I understand, but yeah...Wish they got the reunion stuff out of the way in 7 with everyone being together or something first. I know it's nostalgia and head cannon but the reunions we have gotten so far from Han/Leia, Luke/Leia, Luke/R2 have been some of the strongest parts in not only the ST, but the entire Saga.

 

Well it's not really a reunion, but I would like to see BB-8 face off against BB-H8.

 

Lando and Chewbacca/original droids

Kylo and Leia (I know it won't happen)

Anakin/Luke/Obi Wan

Kylo/Anakin

Rey/Rey's family (also won't happen)

Luke and Han (more wishful thinking)

What did RJ say about not having Anakin/Obi-Wan in TLJ. I believe Obi-Wan is being kept for an Anthology film.

 

At this point the only one I want to see but probably won't is Leia/her son, whichever persona he chooses. I guess.

Ok I would also like Anakin somehow since we are still dealing with a dark side Skywalker.

Rey and Finn is good too.

 

Kylo and Finn. Kylo and Leia would've been my first choice.

 

Leia and Kylo, but I know that's not possible now.

Maz and Chewie. I think she's more into him than he is her, and seeing Chewie in that situation would be funny.

Leia and Lando, but another that can't happen anymore.

Luke and Anakin, but that would be cheesy now as they're both Force ghosts.

Kylo and Anakin, I don't think Kylo has ever spoken to him so I think it's time Anakin introduced himself.

 

Rey and Ben Solo. Finally fighting on the same side and discovering balance.

 

The dark side and the light, reunited, finally after thousands of years of civil war.

 

I don’t think he said anything about Anakin, but he didn’t want Ewan and Mark to interact because Luke never saw a younger Obi Wan as a force ghost so it would be a continuity error. They could cgi Alec but I think all Hell would break lose.

 

HA! Rian caring about continuity? As if.

 

Assuming Leia is not going to be included, I'd say Anakin & Luke and Kylo & Finn. The former for obvious reasons and the latter because I liked their hero-villain dynamic in TFA and was sad to see it completely drop by the wayside in TLJ.

Not sure if Anakin & Kylo counts as a reunion given that Anakin seems to have been ignoring his grandson's pleas for attention. But that could be an interesting first meeting.
