    Exactly.

Being put between a rock and a hard place, which I absolutely feel they were in The Wrong Jedi arc, does not make them terrible people or deserving of condemnation.

But it was presented to us as black-and-white, as you said, and I can't help but wonder if that was intentional, and not just because they didn't have the time to elaborate.

I hope I'm wrong about that.

I already said I don't trust her stated intentions. All she did was hurt the Jedi order, not protect them. Unintentionally? I doubt it. Her true motivation was always revenge. It explains her actual deeds much better than the fairy tale she coked up for herself and others. She wanted to be the martyr, the hero, and not the villain.

All the Empire needs to do is to force her to face the truth.

I'd like to see Xizor. I'd enjoy seeing what's become of Black Sun since TCW.

It's hard to tell. On the one hand, we do get a few things that support that the Jedi weren't just being malicious and terrible - a (brief) explanation that they're under a lot of pressure to expel Ahsoka so she could be judged by people outside the Order, the fact that there was some pretty solid evidence against Ahsoka, the surprise on Ahsoka/Padme's faces when Tarkin pushes for the death penalty (meaning the Jedi presumably weren't expecting that, either), their apology at the end, etc. On the other hand, they really didn't go into a lot of that. The episode barely shows us the Council's debate, glossing over the reasons why expelling her wasn't entirely unreasonable. Even the apology at the end, which started out as seeming very genuine, got undermined with the whole "this has actually been your great trial" thing, which came off as more of a rationalization.

I guess in the end it's hard to say whether they didn't elaborate on the reasoning behind the Council's decision because they wanted to focus on other things - obviously, it being Ahsoka's last episode before leaving the Order, there was always going to need to be a focus on her and Anakin - or because they deliberately wanted to paint them in a bad light.

With the rumor that Sam Witwer will be voicing someone on Rebels, I wonder if it will be Emperor Palpatine? He voiced him in both TFU and TFU2, and he certainly sounds more like the Emperor than Tim Curry does. I can't really see Maul appearing in Rebels, so I doubt he's voicing him. It could always be a brand new character, but I'm hoping it's Palpatine.

Maybe it's a scene where Vader is passing on information about the Inquisitors failure and the Emperor demands Vader to end him?

Perhaps! A similar idea I have is Palps calls the Inquisitor back to the Imperial Palace on Coruscant and orders Vader to kill him. I'd love this, even if it was just for the sake of seeing Coruscant during Imperial times and the Imperial Palace.

Agreed. Plus, I can't really see the Inquisitor dying any other way then by Sheev or Vader's hand.

Yeah. I'd much rather have Sheev or Vader kill the Inquisitor for his failures instead of Kanan killing him. Sure it could still be cool, but I'd like a scene showing that Sheev and Vader are much more powerful than the Inquisitor and won't tolerate continual failures.

Oh man, if they did that I'd love to see the Inquisitor pull out his lightsaber and try to defeat Vader, only for Vader to easily block his swings and disarm him, then finish him off with a force choke and a good ol' stab.

Then the Inquisitor wakes up in a medlab and Vader orders him to root out those who would attempt to start a rebellion and gain their trust.
