Leia is understandable but why Greedo?

 

Someone with a whole lot of time on hands should add up the tally for each character, I'm willing to bet the most popular choices are Ahsoka and Tarkin.

Actually now that I really think about it. I don't want to speculate. Whomever shows up from TCW will be a pleasant surprise.

 

I bet we will get a TCW original next season be it Ashoka rex etc.

 

Greedo and the 2 goons who have the death sentence on 12 systems. Obi wan tried to by them drinks, but one of them ended up losing an arm. Yes bring all 3 of those guys in the show! IM LOVING IT!!!

This show is about the crew not some random character that appears for 5 seconds.

 

Interesting have you ever tallied how many seconds Plo Coon appears in the PT?......curious

 

At least it made sense because its the clone wars and it could focus on all sorts of people.

I want to see the ghost crew go to another planet other than Lothal for a change. Everything seems to be stuck there for some reason. They should visit the Imperial palace on Coruscant and meet the Emperor himself.

Absolutely. We need some clone vets in Rebels. I said in another thread that I wanted Kal and the Null ARCs to show up if the visit Mandalore. Agreeing even more with the idea of the Rebels getting off that damned planet Lothal. Why is it that everything goes on there? In Idiot's Array they went into space around Lothal only to come right back and get into a load of crap with the red pig guy. There's still more people I want to see though-

Seriously though, that planet is one of the least imaginative in the Star Wars galaxy. It's basically Tatooine without the sand.

 

The cloaked figure that Hera contacts in Rebel Resolve I'm definitely willing to bet is Asoka or Princess Leia. How else would she know that the highest levels of the Empire care about what's going on on Lothal?

Well we can take Tarkin off the wish list. Now id like to see some of the Rebel Generals from the OT show up.

 

Pretty much any of the Outer Rim military leaders that were present aboard the Death Star: Motti, Tagge, and/or Yularen specifically. Tagge in particular seemed much more worried about the Rebels' chances, possibly indicating that he's had little luck dealing with them before(?) He'd be the kind of villain, like Piett, that really didn't have much luck with the Rebels, but also didn't come across as a bumbling idiot.

I think it's very important however that whoever shows up doesn't detract from the core cast. They can be there to cross paths with the heroes and give them guidance, but they shouldn't be at the forefront of any stories, IMO. Like, Ahsoka could crop up, but she shouldn't be saving the day. Characters with little or no development in the films are some of the best choices IMO, such as the aforementioned officers, bounty hunters, Delegation of 2000 senators, etc.

Bo-Katan and Lux I think would be nice returning characters from TCW. Clones would also be nice to see, and it could be someone like Gree or Bly that we don't know that well, it doesn't have to be Rex or Cody.

Criminal underworld characters would be welcome, like Jabba, Boba Fett, etc. But honestly I'd like to get away from Tatooine and show a different Hutt that both isn't Jabba, but also not some goofy caricature.

And honestly, with characters like clones still loyal to the Empire (whomever that may be), I don't think they should be afraid to kill one off at the hands of the heroes. For instance, bring Cody in as a leader of a squad of elite stormtroopers (compared to the bumbling stormtroopers we've seen) that has been tasked with engaging the heroes. Only for the heroes to ultimately triumph and kill Cody. The fate of all the clones is extremely open ended since all Pablo has said is that they're too old and have been replaced by recruits. But I think there's really interesting character development opportunities there for someone like Kanan, to come face to face with a clone, several of which were responsible for killing his master. While also getting post-Order 66 exchanges of dialogue between a Jedi and clone; e.g. "You clones betrayed the Jedi!" "The Jedi tried to assassinate the Chancellor!"
