Full Series Characters in Rebels, Who Will Show Up and Who Do You Want to See?

Han and Chewie would be great.

 

Now that aftermath has wrapped up i would love to see Gallius Rax. Not sure how it would work, but it'd be cool to see him on screen.

And when Maul visits Tatooine I want to see Bea Arthur running the Mos Eisley Cantina.

I want to see Shak Ti and I want to see a battle between Obi-wan and Maul.

I also want to see Cad Bane show up

 

Ti died offscreen during ROTS(deleted scene Vader murders her canonized).

 

Is that the official one? Because there's also the deleted scene where Grievous kills her.

 

That isn't canonized because Shaak Ti lived long enough to record a holocron message about the destruction of the Jedi Order. I guess that she survived the initial Order 66, and was probably killed sometime later.

 

The source that canonises her death at Vader's hands is the new Galactic Atlas book. Her character entry ends with:

"Though a skilled and cunning warrior, she was killed by Darth Vader during the Jedi Purge as she meditated in the Temple."

Presumably she sensed the younglings and Jedi Masters dying, started recording that holocron message, finished, started meditating on what to do next, and was killed by Vader.

 

I don't have the Galactic Atlas, but it's possible that this is simply an editorial error. Someone should ask Pablo on Twitter.

EDIT: OK, I just looked up her Wook article and it links to a Hidalgo tweet where he confirms that she recorded the holocron message the night the temple was being attacked by Vader and the clones. You are right, my apologies.

 

You know what I just realized? Cad Bane was 5ish in TCW and that means he is at least 67 years old by rebels so not so young mind you..., but not impossible either especially because we don't know how long Duros live.

 

Greedo. I think he'd be a good comic relief character as a bumbling bounty hunter who is bested by others (Cad Bane, Boba, Dengar, Embo etc...) but still has bravado and a superiority complex.

 

I would not mind seeing Greedo, I'm surprised he has not showed up yet. It's great Rebels is bringing in so many OT characters. Rebels is the perfect follow up to Clone Wars. I just wish it would come to Netflix so I can finally watch them in clarity.

 

I wonder about seeing Director Krennic competing with other imperial officers
since we've had so many stupid Death Star easter eggs

All of that is possible. I would like to see Aphra. An appearance is possible, since she's around 30 in the comics and Rebels is currently only 2 years before the comics.

 

I'd like to see Barriss, even in a flashback, to wrap her fate beyond her being escorted from Ahsoka's trial. If they could find a useful role for her in Rebels, I would be happy to watch it. Part of me prefers that she died before Luminara, helping to explain why she was resigned to her death at the hands of the Empire. Another part of me would like to see Barriss sacrifice herself for the rebellion to help redeem her crimes during the CW...

 

Who is Krennic? What is that?

 

Do we know the why behind what she did? Was she influenced by Palpatine or Dooku?

Krennic was the main antagonist or or one of them (along w/Tarkin) in Catalyst. He was in R1 albeit his part wasn't as fleshed out as in the book.

That is a good idea because it was so open ended but I almost want to see something less predictable as well. I think she could work as a villain, or morally corrupt person like Aphra albeit w/Force training.

 

I really want to see Barriss as the new Grand Inquisitor, which could also offer the opportunity to show us more of how the Inquisitors work, recruit new members, where are they based, etc, and finish Barrisses story from the CW.

Cad Bane and Boba Fett (in full armour and with Slave I of course) would be nice.

Maz Kanata and her castle on Takodana would be great as well. You can have the Ghost crew visiting it for some information or contacts for example and maybe even put Han & Chewie in the background as a nice easter egg. But please NO Han & Chewie as talking characters in Rebels. The Ghost crew does't need to meet everyone in the galaxy.

Same goes for the R1 characters. I would like to see more of the Rebel leadership (senators, generals, important pilots, etc.), but not the main characters of the movie. Even Cassian would not work IMO, unless they would have him kill one of the Ghost crew for not being loyal enough
