True. We are only five episodes in. I just hope it will get darker. But this is a kids show, so I'm not getting my hopes up. Same goes for this string of CIS losses. It better stop soon... But, I think I said this somewhere else, the Republic isn't the only one feeling the costs of war. It's not so much the graphic death scenes that make it dark, it's the underlying feelings and what's going on. Many kids don't become aware of things like that for a while. That's why Episode three was kind of boring for my brother, but now that he looks back on it, it's alot grimmer than he realized. Same would go for other shows and movies.

ABout the show being darker. Come on now. if it gets any darker, it won't be fun anymore.

He died in the Dark Empire.

His spirit just went too Byss when the second Death Star blew up.

 

I think he means Grevious, when Obi-wan blasts him.

But that was after a very lengthy lightsaber duel/chase, Goraq. You make it sound like somebody just walked up and shot him. I thought it was a cool twist that Obi-wan did that, actually. Plus, we got the "so uncivilized" line.

 

Never new that, though I've never read Dark Empire, so that's maybe why.

Grevious is not a force user.

The death of Grevious looked good because he is a cyborg and has a lot of burnable and explosive parts.

Rex should have the extremely manly and BA last stand Jango Fett never got, so we can set up Appo to take command of the 501st.

 

The battle I would like to see most would be the 212 Mandalorian Super Commandoes fighting the Jedi Knights, and where only 3 out of the 212 Protectors of Mandalore survive after being defeated. I'm surprised nobody mentioned the Mandalorian warrior group during this time of the Clone Wars since this show's inception.

 

Ventress. Her ending in the comics was a bit anti-climatic. Hopefully she'll die in a duel with Obi-Wan.

 

LOL, I know this is way out there, but You just don't see enough of Dooku. Ventress is getting on my nerves. I want to see Dooku Kill Her...and soon. I mean, He was a powerful Jedi, I think we need to see more of that.

I hope they have the guts to kill Ashoka, not because I hate her or because I want a darker show, it just seems as the logical way to go, especially looking at what impact it will have on Anakin. If she survives I would understand why, but still.

Also, since Rex is not in RotS I hope they get a bit creative with him. It would be cool if he refused to take Order 66 and gets killed for betrayal.

 

I was surprised when I finally saw the movie and Yoda said explicitly that the Ahsoka thing was about teaching Anakin to overcome loss.

While we're on the topic of comical deaths and replacements, even though I'd cry, it'd be amusing to see Plo Koon killed, only to be replaced by his niece who is somehow able to fill his robes without anybody noticing. The Kel Dor we see all of episode 3 is Sha Koon, which explains why the fighter is shot down so easily. Plo Koon wouldn't get taken out like a punk that way. XD
