    Texans pick up Ahman Green

:( He's one of my favorite players. I was hoping the Packers resign him.

Let's see what he can do with no offensive line in front of him though. :p

That'll require someone other than Favre throwing the ball. His time has passed.

    football time again! w00t!

predictions for our season packer fans?

    here's our schedule(and my predictions):

    Philadelphia W
    at NY Giants W
    San Diego L
    at Minnesota W
    Chicago L
    Washington W
    BYE WEEK
    at Denver L
    at Kansas City L
    Minnesota W
    Carolina L
    at Detroit W
    at Dallas W
    Oakland W
    at St. Louis L
    at Chicago L
    Detroit W

That puts us at 9-7 on the season(5-3 at home, 4-4 on the road)... I think that's reasonable.

You really think that the Packers will beat Dallas on the road? Gee, that's optimistic. :p

    1-0 baby!

Favre sucked for the most part today, but the defense and special teams saved him. And that rookie Crosby has a hell of a leg.

    I don't think Favre sucked.

I think that the rest of the offense sucked.

Other than Driver. But even he had a meh day.

Favre doesn't suck. Those 2 plays on that 1 drive proved it. It's the guys around him. If Driver is his only option, we're in trouble.

At least the D looked good today.

I'd rip apart your offensive line before taking out Favre. He shouldn't have to make those spectacular almost-get-sacked plays. His O-line should be protecting him.

Well another week goes by and another win for the Pack.

Brett Favre looked great(29-38, 286 yds, 3 td, 1 int)

our running game was a litle iffy, brandon jackson looked horrible, only averaged 2.1 a carry... but DeShawn Wynn got 2 TDs and 50 yards on only 10 carries.

The defense looked great again this week, giving up 13 points to an offense that scored 35 a week ago.

Sweet, a thread for fans of the Green & Gold. Gotta love being 2-0, with a decent shot at 3-0 with the way the chargers have been playing so far.

Yeah, but LT will be the first running back test for our defense. We proved we could defend against the pass with McNabb and Manning, but this is the first elite running back we're facing this season.

After the way the Chargers played last week, next week's game gets interesting. I still don't think they can win it, but there's a bit more optimism now. They could make a game out of it. Chargers haven't looked good on offense yet, and their defense was just torched by New England. If LT has another game like he had the past two weeks, GB could pull this one out.

    I have to say:

    lol @ Shockey and Toomer

If they hadn't taken stupid penalties, which forced NY to settle for field goals, the tide may not have turned in the Packers' favor.

Brett Favre has 2 touchdown passes today so his next one will tie him with Dan Marino for most all time. (Hopefully he gets it in the next couple minutes, so we can have the lead against San Diego)

EDIT: on the 1 yard line right now. screw the record, go for the win, pound it in.

Brett Favre ties Dan Marino! It's gonna be a sad day in 6-8 years when Peyton breaks all of Favre's records. :p

3-0 baby! only one of two teams in the NFC who are still undefeated.

and I said we'd go 9-7... I might have underestimated us.

We'd have to go 6-7 the rest of the season to end up at 9-7. I don't want us to be under .500 the rest of the way. :p

If we go 8-5 the rest of the way, we'd finish at 11-5, I think that seems like a reasonable number to shoot for.
