Cheesy Moments of the PT

Did any one notice that the PT had the most cheesy moments? You would have expected that from the OT because it is almost thirty years old, but it is better in that aspect.

Here are some I noticed while watching them the other day:

Any scenes with Padme & Anakin were painful to watch, but when Padme says "I truely...Deeply...Love you" in the Geonosian arena, you can't help but say 'oh please, are you serious?'

Another was when Dooku is talking to Obi Wan & he goes a little over the top when he was saying "Oh yes, I totally agree, they have gone too far this time"

I am not bashing the PT, it am just having a sense of humour...I think.

^No. It sounds like you're bashing it. Also, the OT has a TON of cheesy moments. Yet, people don't seem to start threads about them.

 

I suppose it is all a matter of opinion.

 

Those two moments you mentioned dont bother me at all. I mainly think the scenes with Ani on Tatooine were sometimes corny, but he's a kid so there is no other way to act.

 

Dooku's line is meant to be sarcasm.

I think we've just gotten so used to the OT's cheesiness that we dont even see it.

Luke was a little whiny at the beginning, then when C-3PO is being cleaned he is playing with a toy ship, even though he is twenty. And when the storm trooper says "look sir, droids!" I think that is hilarious.
