I have been waiting decades to see arms being torn from their sockets.

 

I'm going to be super sad if he just stands behind cover and shoots off some blaster rounds.

I hope he rips everyone's arms off including the director's.

 

My only concern is Peter has BLUE eyes. Either this is a picture with "off colors", this is a stunt double, or possibly a mannequin.

It doesn't quite look like either of the films. The ammo boxes are different. Also there seems to be a leather strip underneath them on the sides.

 

Thats our Chewie, always rocking the latest in bandolier fashion.

 

This is probably legit and I'm really pleased to see that the new costume actually looks like Chewie, as opposed to the ROTS version that looked just off enough to be unsettling.

 

I'm just surprised they're leaving this so ambiguous. If that's the new suit for Ep. VII, and if that's Peter inside, why not say so?

Anyway, I hope it is, because they really nailed it.

Will Chewie be walking around with a cane?

 

I think they’ve touched up the face ever so slightly. Like, really subtle. I think its Mayhew’s real costume, though, because all the Chewbacca costumes you see at Disney World, conventions and the like are always crap. That’s actually very well done and looks like something that would be used in a big budget film.

 

I agree. I think its the real deal.

As I believe cast have begun costume fittings - no doubt that very well may be Peter in the suit.

We need a 3PO pic next!
