I think he looks best in the TFA pic.

Looking at that pic he just used too much Deb gel on his face and nose and lips in ROTS. As most youngsters do when they are finding their individuality and style.

Maybe that's what they went for, being Kashyyyk was a humid wet planet?

Chewie looks like he's about to experience some S&M in that ROTJ pic.

 

I wouldn't go as far as to say he looked like garbage, but he did look radically different from what we were used to. To the general movie-going audience it may not have been as big a deal, but, the differences are quite noticeable.

I would say that even Yarua, the Kashyyyk senator from TPM, looks more like OT Chewie than ROTS Chewie does (albeit with a fatter head and different coloring).

Pretty sure that was an OT suit with some white extensions and brushed out.

 

I'm Sure he'll look great with all the resources and products available to him through the republic now. Who knows maybe he's even modeling!

Interesting Chewie is among that first wave of leaked figures. Either backs up my wish for him to become part of the new gang.... or possibly they just wanted an OT character to bolster the initial wave....or more likely it was a no brainer because half his sculpt could be reused.

Peter's 7'3" and Ian Whyte is 7'. This may not sound like a big difference but I think it'll be noticeable when he's stood next to 6'4" Harrison.....
