Chewbacca & R2 playing game

Guys, forgive me if this has been asked and answered but I was wondering why in the ANH:SE when Chewy and R2 are playing that game aboard the Falcon, that the scene is cut.

After Han says that Wookies are known to rip arms out of their sockets, in the original, 3PO turns to R2 and tells him to take a different strategy and let the Wookie win. But in the SE, that part is cut out. Why was it cut? That was a great scene so what was the thinking in ruining it?

 

That scene wasn't cut from any professional copies of the OT, SE, or DVD-SE dude.

 

Yeah, my copy still includes that scene.

But in mine Luke was replaced with a cat called Meow Skywalker

OK, I should have said that I was watching it on TV. So I guess the TV station must have cut it. Thanks, guys.

I was so hungry I almost ate my OT VHS copy of ESB cassette today. It was lucky it didn't taste very good...

Almost had it in the stew pot. It was lucky to have got out of there...
