but hawk bat, why not just ask that rather than "bump bump bump"?

ask a question, get an answer.

amber_eyes hooked you up with the address of huck finns. there are directions on the first page of this thread posted by bosh. googling for blastcamp chicago yielded this:

    600 East 3rd Street
    Hobart, Indiana 46342
    219-947-7733

which is i believe our destination.

remember this lesson, you have a search engine which contains all the earthbound knowledge of the world, you just need to ask it the right questions.

ATTN Peaches, yodacola, and all other loser minors like myself:

    "It's working; it's working!"

Yeah, yeah, the BlastCamp website is working again! The release waiver is at the bottom of the front page. I suggest you print one out right away in case the site goes down again for some stupid reason. I already printed out a copy for myself. :D

    Yay! :D

This sounds like so much fun!

I'm still a maybe, but I'd say that I'm more likely to be there than not. I've still got a lot to accomplish between today and Monday.

If I want to pre-pay, the deadline is Friday night, right?

"I've still got a lot to accomplish between today and Monday."

As do I, which is why I'm working ahead tonight and tomorrow so I will be able to take an enjoyable day off on Saturday. C'mon, you gotta come. :D

Huck Finn's is at 3414 S. Archer Avenue. The Blastcamp website gives an address of 550 W. 600 North for the camp. I think the other address is just the mailing address.

So, who is meeting people in Schaumburg?

As you can see Peaches is into all the latest Paintballing techie gear. This year he's bringing a prototype of Super paint-absorbant nano-polymer cloth designed by NASA engineers.

excellent. good to know that you can use your printer AND the internet at the same time.

walking and chewing gum is next on the list.

You might want to invest in some kneepads and a helmet before you try the gum thing, though.

"So, who is meeting people in Schaumburg?"

Not me. I'm riding with one of my friends. Last time it was myself, Scott, Gina, Mark, and Thom. Mark's not coming (he drove last time :p ) and I dunno about the others, so maybe there will be no meet-up at B&N.

"Lol ah no sithy your gonna own me. My knee's acting up"

I owned you last time and your knee wasn't acting up then. ;) J/King peaches. :p

OK. I just got back from my favorite store and got us:

    DRINK
    - tons of bottled water
    - A couple cases of some chocolate drink

    FOOD:
    - a serious lot of: Power Bars, Energy Bars, Tiger Milk Bars and a bunch of other healthy (so they say) energy packed candy.
    - Green Nacho Chips!!
    - Some spicy hot salty snacks that are in my car and I can't think of what they are....something like Corn Nuts.

    PRIZES:
    - A few random (Non Star Wars) prizes.

SAFETY GEAR (For sale @ cost):
    - Knee Pads. They're like 3 bucks n' some change for a pair. Only drawback is they are RED. So you may want to bring baggy pants that they'll go under...or some spray paint. Anyone who's played can tell you that having knee-pads gives you quite the advantage.

    - Gloves. Another advantageous safety item. They'll cost you 50 cents a pair. They have that rubber gel stuff on'm for good gun grippin'. Cut the trigger finger off and go to it.

If you want to have anything that's not listed above to eat, drink or wear....you'll have to bring it yerself.

    Alone.

Alone on the boards on a Saturday morning.

Hope you're all having fun with your paints and your kneepads (I saw a movie like that once.) I'm just gonna hang out here by myself... didn't really want to go anyway.

    Sigh.
