Chic, IL Chicago Force Holiday Toy Drive

Yes, it's that time of year again, folks. Time for the Chicago Force Holiday Toy Drive!
Join Chicago Force this holiday season as we try to brighten up the lives of area children on behalf of the Chicago sci-fi fan community! All toys from this years drive will be turned over to Toys for Tots.
Our kickoff to the drive will be at this years WindyCon! Yes, WindyCon has generously let Chicago Force have a table at this years convention and we will be accepting new, unwrapped toys on Saturday and Sunday.
After that, our toy box will be moving to Graham Crackers in Wheaton. It will be housed there until the Chicago Force Holiday Party, our final toy drop of the year. You can also donate toys at any one of our scheduled events. So bring a Boba to the BookClub, an RC Car to the RPG, we will gladly accept and add it to our box of goodies.

WindyCon is held in Schaumburg Il at the Hyatt
Graham Crackers Comics is at 1207 Butterfield Rd in Wheaton, IL

 

...just happen to have some new action figures in my stash...will have to try to remember to bring them with me tomorrow....

 

GAck! I feel like such a moron, I didn't know that you guys were doing that at WindyCon or else I wouldve brought some toys! Sheesh....

 

there are still opportunities to donate toys...they will be accepting toys at the Book Club in November..

...and at the Chicago Force Christmas Party...

I brought my toys Saturday cause I don't know that I will be able to make the Christmas Party....

It is December 13th. Anything on this years schedule is pretty reliable, watch out on next year tho'.

 

I just like to take the time to thank Jimmy of Graham Crackers Comics for allowing us to put up the box at Graham Crackers this year and also for his generous donation of toys. Also a shot out to Phyllis and ThomSolo for their contributions over the weekend.

 

I'll be bringing some to the meeting on Sunday.

I even managed to get a few other people that I work with to donate some stuff.

I dropped off 2 CW Anakins and a CW Yoda at the Black Sun Syndicate Meeting yesterday.

 

Dang! I had an extra Yoda too, but I forgot to leave him yesterday. Well, at least I left a clonetrooper and an Anakin last month.

 

The box at Graham Crackers was full on Sunday....some of the other "addicts" who meet at Graham Cracker left a LOT of toys....
....Carrie had to empty out some of it to make room......

 

So how many marines are gonna help haul all these toys away at our school and stuff we need usally 10 lol.
