EDIT: For the next two weeks (starting today, ending Saturday, Oct 18) Qui-Gone-Drinking will be known as Priest-Holmes-Fan, Grimby the Hutt will be known as ILuvDanteHall, Sith Slayer will be known as Broncos_Slain, and SITH__CHICK will be known as CHIEFS__CHICK.

Anyone wanna make a sock-name wager on the game this weekend?

Here's how it works:

You bet on your team, I bet on mine. If yours wins, you get to pick the name of a sock that I have to post under for the next week, two weeks, month, whatever we decide on. If mine wins, I get to pick a sock for you two post under for the agreed on time.

Who's got the sack to ante up?

If someone else wants to bet on the Chiefs with me, the choosing of the loser's sock-name is decided by the group. If hell freezes over and the Broncos win, and more than one of you has the guts to make the wager, you will all decide as a group what my sock-name will be.

If you don't get what I'm saying just ask. Basically, Chiefs win = Dragon picks socks that the naysayers have to use. Broncos win = donkeyfans get to pick the sock Dragon posts under.

any other takers? suggestions on how long the losers should be required to use their socks?

 

I'm on, but a few new rules. The loser has to go post at least once in at least 15 other fan boards

what should the duration be? I vote at least 2 weeks. A month would make it more fun.

there should be a line and an over/under thing like real betting..

but for real betting, the chiefs are favored for home field advantage... tsk tsk

 

Every team gets 3 points automaticlly for home field advantage. So if the opposing team is favored by 3 its realy 6. Get my drift?
P.S. My dad is a proffesional gambler, he even states that on his income tax return

You have to state your bet before kickoff as far as I'm concerned.

2 weeks is what we'll be playing for. Losers have to post for 2 weeks under a sock of the winner's choosing.

Obviously, I'm betting on the Chiefs.

 

Getting testy I'm in, I will think of a great sock name you have to post under & go to 15 other fan forces & post, your going to get people hatting you if they are a Bronco fan.

 

p.s. I think 2 wks is kind of long. Can we use our other screen name also? Just as long as we post w/ the sock name too?

I made a bet on a fantasy football match with my friend. Winner got $20 bucks and the right to rename the losing team. I lost and I truly have a bad name now....
