Tucson Children's Clinic Vist October 31, 3-430pm

I just got all the specifics about the CRS visit on Halloween.

* up to 7 (seven) costumed characters
* all blasters holstered
* need 1 handler
* same changing space as last time

Our contact, Lori, the child life specialist is really excited about having us.

Let me know if there are any other questions and lets get a list going about who can commit.

I can go if needed. Am usually off by then anyway. Obviously I am not a costumed character, so If Cat goes to wrangle and I am not needed let me know.

 

Thats not just 1 wrangler, more are encouraged, as long as we dont oversaturate the clinic

 

On one of our other threads somebody made mention of visiting TMC after we hit the Children's Clinic. Is that still the plan?

 

Bev has been incommunicado for a while. We don't have a confirmation from 501st for the TMC visit. If we can't get 501st then we will handle it as TFF. DSJ and I wanted to talk to Bev first before we made a visit appointment with TMC.

The TMC visit will be on the same day as CRS, but as far as the time goes...we will keep you posted.

TMC only wants 5 costumed people, so not everyone would be needed.

 

Amber you are the perfect person for the job.. I am not in town on Halloween ever, I spend Halloween with my kids in Arkansas.. so I think you should go for it.

 

I posted only one handler because I thought I would be able to go. That is still up in the air right now (I am looking for a babysitter). So we actually need two people to go with the guys as handler's.

A week before the visit, I would like to get definite confirmations as to who will be there. I will email a map, directions, time, location of changing area, etc. to all who are going.

I think this one and the TMC visit on Halloween are the most important for me, because this is the ONLY opportunity for these kids to trick-or-treat.

TMC wants us to visit starting at 10am. We can be there as early as 9am to start getting ready. This is actually a great thing because now the DSG can possibly come down. BUT we can only have 5 costumed characters.

The CRS childrens clinic is still 3-430pm, on the TMC campus

 

So we suit up for a couple hours, break for lunch and then hit CRS? Sounds good to me! We should all go to Outback suited up for lunch!

 

I'm probably not going to make this event. Unfortunately, I had already made plans for Halloween night.

 

So do we know what folks at this point are going to be at this event for sure.

Thanks to knee surgery and doctor's orders not to return to work until Oct. 20th, all of my sick leave, personal leave, and vacation time have been used for the year. Therefore, I cannot get off work to attend this event.

 

So who else other than Dustin and Michele will be at this event?
