I disagree. The short one is EASY to remember. That's what people want. I don't think a lot of people are going to know what a "fanforce" is let alone a "rocky mountain fanforce", and if we just tell them that it is called Rocky Mountain FanForce, then they won't have any problem remembering rmff.net (for pete's sake {no pun intended} it's the initials!)

the longer an address is, the less attention it is going to get, just like the longer a post is, the less likely I am to read it.

short, sweet, and simple...that's the best web address.

 

Bear in mind, we will be putting this on flyers, possibly t-shirts, links on other websites, and YOU will have to spell it out to your friends when you tell them to check out the group's website.

 

When you put it that way, go ahead and change my vote to www.rmff.net

EDIT: I suppose it would also ease the transition for people to think of the two as the same thing

 

I know for me anyway, that if I see some abreviation with a cool logo or with a cool setting, it makes me want to look it up to see what it is. At least that way we could "lure" people in.
