LVFF, poor effort. Pity the bastards edited a bit of the film, it took away from the whole film. Still all good though.

The movie was already on at 9:30, and had a rating of AV. They had done everything they need to ensure no responsible parent was letting a child they didn't want exposed to reality, was neatly cocooned somewhere in their cotton wool, and yet they still edit it!

For what? Just because they CAN? Bloody arseclowns, adults are allowed to - at 9:30pm onwards - watch a movie great of Aussie cinematic history, without it being editted for no apparent reason!

It's appalling, and if I wasn't busy, I'd take this to the Rant Bar, for a lengthy RANT sure to breath NEW LIFE into the old thread.

Notice James Van Der Prague (or how every many spaces in his dang name) made a cameo playin the organ in the church? Its supposed to be a true story.... BUUUUULLLLLLL SSSHHHH*****TTTTTTT It was pretty funny haveing the Becker guy playing a non-sarcastic comedic role... he has no credibility anymore! =)
Chopper is only good cos Eric Bana is such a good impersonater.
I watched the DVD of Chopper and they compared the real Chopper's personality to Erics put-on Chopper and it was EXACT!
EB is a very good actor... wish he could put on a decent American accent though.

 

EB...very good reading comedy lines for a skit show, as an actor though untested and proven!!!

 

Yeah, well wait and see what he is like in Hulk - if you can bear to watch it.

 

If Bana can manage to do anything with some appalling two bit comic book adaption, he's a lucky man. Hardly a test of acting skills.

The way he got INSIDE the role of Chopper was amazing. For anyone who has spoken to the man himself, it is surreal to see how well he pulls of Uncle Chop Chop's lil' mannerisms, small effects, key comments, his glare, his laugh. It's absolutely brilliant.

Chopper was a great movie and a good yarn.

Only one of the bestest Australian films ever made about a Melbourne hit man's struggle to come to terms with his inner self, beating lots of people up along the way.

 

I see...perhaps i will have to somehow find a copy of this to watch it.

Chopper is one of the greatest Australian Movie in years and years!

Nearly as good as The I-Team: Project FUBAR.
