I like one of the articles linked below that story about Harpington Fjord getting paid considerably more than the new cast members.

People can complain all they want about an old Harrison Ford as Indy, but where we will all be opening day? The theater.

 

Who is gonna play Indian Jones little Brother Wisconsin Jones?

 

That makes no sense.

 

I'm all for another go 'round with Ford and Spielberg (and no offense, but no Lucas), but as much as Spielberg protests anyone else wearing that fedora, there's no way Disney is going to retire this franchise after one more movie. Either Indy will pass the whip to Mutt--hopefully played by someone not named Shia--(though Mutt Williams-Jones And The... doesn't quite have *quite* the same ring to it), or they'll recast and go prequel and/or adventures in and around the original timeline. Maybe even bookend the first one with Ford narrating it ala that episode of Young Indiana Jones.

I could also see another stab at a weekly TV series.

I am up for Pratt playing Indian Jones. Just make it a Bollywood farce movie. Pratt's got the dance moves down already.

If they really plan on making an Indy 5 I hope they get it started soon before anything bad happens to HF. I don't anything will but he's already had two recent close calls leading up to TFA's premiere.

Also: any thoughts to the plot/MacGuffin? Something about the Garden of Eden could be interesting IMO. Other plot devices could be:

*Library of Alexandria
*Atlantis(though I heard one of Indiana Jones video games did this)
*Shangri-La
*Excalibur
*El Dorado
*Fountain of Youth

 

The last one is just cruel.

 

He has to get the Antikythera mechanism before Mussolini's men use it to remote control the Colossus of Rhodes.

 

Those trans-dimensional beings come back for him and take him on a journey.. through time!
