Padu, KY Christmas Party

Hi guys,
I know its early but I wanted to let you know so we can start planning. I have told a few of you about this already but our Christmas Party for the fanforce will be on Saturday December 16th. We will be holding it at the Murray State Theater and will be showing the Star Wars Holiday Special on the big screen. For food we'll do pot luck and have everyone bring something to eat. Also, we will do a gift exchange. We had this last year and it went great, so we'll do it again. Post any thoughts or questions on stuff to do while were there or anything else regarding this event. pv

Any ideas on a time? I know several members work retail and that is going to be a busy time for them. Maybe a 5pm or 6pm so it can be a dinner thing? Just a suggestion. Also, will it be a general gift exchange or will we draw names ahead of time?

Well, if we do it the way we did it last year, everyone who brings a gift, preferably wrapped, would be able to select a wrapped gift from the pool of gifts that everyone brought, going one at a time.

 

Holiday Special in Murray? LOL WoW

 

Hey guys,

We have had many members balk at having the party in Murray so we are going to do it in Paducah. I will let everyone know about a venue soon. It will still be on the 16th and will be from around 5pm on. Post any ideas you might have. One idea would be getting a suite at Exec. Inn or other hotel and having our party there. There will be a gift exchange so if you would like to participate then bring a gift, star wars or otherwise, with a price range of $10-20. Also, for food we were thinking of making it pot luck or we could order out, or otherwise, post your thoughts. pv

 

I think we still need to show the holiday special!! it just seems right! I also think we need to play: What Do You Get A Wookie for Christmas? (When He Already Owns a Comb) on continuous loop!!!! Priceless!
