Ed (didn't know if you were planning on coming down for the party)
    Molly (same as for Ed)
Others I may have missed, so sorry if I did, let me know.

I swiped the basic menu listing from last year and added a couple items. Let me know if people think there should be changes to the list, and what you will be bringing. Extra item slots should be filled after the basic items have been taken care of.

    Menu
    -----------------

Appetizer 1 - Tim (one bread style will be used as an appetizer)
    Appetizer 2 - Amy/Rae (veggie tray)

Alcohol - Minors will be present, so no alcohol will be served.

I do ask that if you haven't confirmed whether you are coming or not, please post and let us know even if you don't know whether or not you're coming. It's far better for us to put you in the maybe category and know that you may come than for us to not have a clue at all whether or not you'll show up. And to everybody, please let us know what you are planning on bringing. The different categories are first-come-first-served, so if you want to bring something in particular speak up now or forever hold your peas. :)
    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    End General Party Information

Updated Auston's and Gary's items on the list.

Well good , early news concerning the weather for Saturday. As of today (Sunday) the forecast for Saturday is Mostly Cloudy and a high of 40 degrees. The only concern I have is wind. Wind would make it impossible for us to cook the DFT. If it is to windy , we will go to plane B , which is the oven method.

Well, why not just do the DFT inside? You know, near something flammable. We could bring marshmallows :D

There was just an artical in the paper Sunday about a guy that burnt his garage down with his exculade inside trying to cook one to close to his garage. I bet he dint figure for greese displacement.

Oh yeah, I was being sarcastic. Doing this stuff inside anywhere is a terrible idea. While we have never had any mishaps, I would fear trying to do it anywhere near a structure, let alone, inside of one. :)

Weather wise , its looking good for a green light for DFT on Saturday.
Weather.com has the chance of precepitation at 20% and a light wind 4MPH.
We should be good to go.[face_praying]

    Weather update for Eric:

    Precip. Chance: 30%
    Winds: ESE at 14mph

And the current weather alert for Saturday. Not sure if it'll stay, worsen, etc, but it's something to keep an eye on.

...SLEET POSSIBLE ON SATURADY AFTERNOON ACROSS CENTRAL INDIANA...

TEMPERATURES ACROSS CENTRAL INDIANA ON SATURDAY MORNING ARE EXPECTED BE TO BELOW FREEZING. A WARM FRONT IS EXPECTED TO PUSH ACROSS INDIANA AND GENERATE PRECIPITATION ON SATURDAY AFTERNOON AND SATURDAY NIGHT.

SINCE THERE WILL BE COLD AIR IN PLACE AHEAD OF THIS FRONT...SOME OF THE PRECIPITATION MAY BEGIN AS A BRIEF PERIOD OF SLEET ON SATURDAY AFTERNOON. THE SLEET IS EXPECTED TO QUICKLY CHANGE OVER TO RAIN AS THE WARM FRONT PASSES AND TEMPERATURES RISE ABOVE FREEZING ON SATURDAY NIGHT. SIGNIFICANT SLEET ACCUMULATIONS ARE NOT EXPECTED AT THIS TIME...HOWEVER PEOPLE SHOULD PAY ATTENTION TO THE LATEST FORECASTS AS SOME OF THE FIRST WINTER PRECIPITATION MAY OCCUR.

(Apologies for all caps, but I didn't want to have to retype the entire thing from the Weather Channel's page.)

    Dang it.
For now, let's shoot for DFT. Right now Wather.com says "Some" showers at 2-4 pm. It will only take about 40 min to cook the Turkey so if I think we will have a 1 hr window at 2-3 pm ,its DFT. I will be at Sara's at 2pm.
If we have bad weather, then I will put the turkey in the oven at 2pm and it will be done in time for Brian to bake his dish.
We aren't eating till 6:30 or so ,so we should have plenty of time either way.

    Side note for Tim:
If you have not bought the Oil yet, wait till Saturday morning or if you have, save the receipt and I can take it back for you if we dont use it.
