    and if i were staying for longer than 2 hours I would bring a portable down.

    But I need to run and flee and hide and be a social butterfly. Oh god someone find me a new job!!!

    poor baby - from a caterpillar to a butterfly in less than two hours - he's a superhero!! :D I wonder if having a hangover from the party the night before will make much difference to this fantastic transformation?

    There's no real sexy twi'lek icons that I've seen. I've used Winter for a while, mainly cos that's what they call me in places. As for a sexy alien, there's always ET or Alf.... [face_devil]

    Dosn't have time on my hands, I just used to be a star trek fan. Then I grew up and became a star wars fan ;)


    Those trekkies are too idealistic hehehe

    Pfffft good will to all men / aliens. Where are the ships that make you shake to your knees!!!! where are the industrial designs that fill your dreams with nightmares

    Where the hell is the fun in going to a planet and knowing instantly that they speak english!

    yeah!! here, here! I say! er...I'm sounding like I belong in parliament.

    Imagine landing on a planet where nobody spoke any english at all - and worse - if they did it wasn't with an American accent!! Egads!! The thought of it!
    Never been into Star Trek myself, I guess I was just at the right age at the right time at the right place to be able to miss all of that. Phew!! lol. No offence to any trekkies out there. :D

    I think that i have got at least 3-4 other Family members coming along to join us.
    1 - My best friend Rene (<-- Would love to come)
    2 - oldest Nephew (<-- Loves criket, sporty kid, likes star wars)
    3 - Oldest Neice (sp?) (<-- likes a good day out, will join in on the fun )
    4 - Brother or Sister-in-law to look atfter 2 and 3

    I'm usually working Thursday nights and weekends in the hardware section....seeing if I can get this Sunday afternoon off. As you can guess we're very busy, but I've been working a lot extra so maybe I can.

    I'll probably be able to get out at 2 and come in after that. Just have to check out the bus routes.

    Edit: Not sure what food I can contribute...perhaps some dessert since I'll be getting there fairly late?

    BTW, anyone here have a copy of Splinter of the Mind's Eye they'd like to use to help me answer a trivia question? I only have the comic, and need to know what the three things Threepio complains about not having are. Also the colour of the tibanna rich clouds on Bespin; have no idea of the source on that one.

    2.Tibanna gas clouds on Bespin are clear.
    There isn't a specific reference to it having a colour, only depending on the algae growing in it.
    I've found the atmosphere on Bespin changes to all colours depending on the current weather cycle.
    Tibanna gas seems to be invisible.
