FF:VIC Cinema Nova: November 12th. Victorians meet.

Just a suggestion. On the 12th of November, 6:30pm (I will confirm this) (are exams finished by then?) I am suggesting we meet up at Cinema Nova on Lygon Street, Carlton (round the corner from where Skyforce was), to see "Dangerous Dan Jones" a movie by Mixo, with musical score by myself.

I know the night is kinda geared towards me and Mixo, but its a good time for everyone to meet (and hopefully we do meet, unlike Skyforce), where we will actually be in Melbourne.

Tell me what you think, I'm open to suggestion, but the date cannot be changed.

 

I'd love to come, but I have my Yr 12 History Exam the next day.

Hopefully I'll be able to work something out....

Seriously though, what date do exams finish? Or will most of them already be gone by then?

The night displays about 2 hours of movies - alot of them arty. But Dangerous Dan is full-on action start to finish!

 

I dont know about the actual yr 12 exam dates except for mine, which is the next day. My yr11 exams are that week and the next, but they are easy to skip the last night cramming on.

I'll still try to come, I can study on the train.

My exams dont finish until the 21st, then I'm going on a 48hr bender... so yeah, sometime after that...

Can't guarantee anything, as that's during my exams also, but I'll see what I can do.

 

The problem is Lute, that I also have the history exam... so I've got to study... I need top marks for my course, otherwise I'd be there... I've piked out of two of these now... when J-E (who also has the exam) gets off his arse and sits for his license, you'll see a lot more of us

 

Hell, once I've got my licence, I'll drive down and pick you guys up.

Kerang is up near Swan Hill on the edge of the Murray River. Very uncoastlike indeed. Dry, dusty, crap. I'd take Phillip Is any day, especially one this weekend

 

Lol, I knew it was near one of the two (yes, a whole two) places I go to for a holiday with the family, or at least I used to. We go to Echuca occasionally, right round there. Nice place, but wouldn't want to live there unless I'm over the age of 45. And you live there, Holocron??? Firm effort!

scary place to be after work hours...frightening.

 

I love Kerang, my aunty owns a stationary shop up there. I envy you, Holocron, it's such a peaceful town (well at least it was when I was there...)
