    Strange (and maybe symbolic) it took so long for that image to reappear in the saga after the view from the cockpit of the Falcon jumping into hyperspace was made so famous by ANH.

    When I was a kid, I thought those tubes were evil. You know, Luke finally slides to a stop and the floor goes out under him. Looking at it from a more mature perspective, it's like the city is trying to flush him out altogether.

    There's a lot of passage through tubes in the end duel of ESB, from Luke coming up on the lift, to the carbon freeze pit itself, to the light-up tube between the carbon freeze room and the control room, and so forth. He just kept going and going until there was nowhere else to go, and the city expelled him. I wonder what it all means.

    I've always wondered why Ben and Yoda look exactly the same as ghosts as they did when they died, but all of Anakin's wounds disappeared and he grew his hair back.

    Great image. The resolution of the saga. Luke looking at the other 3 people responsible for defeating the Emperor. Poor Qui-Gon gets no love. Maybe he'll be added for the DVD's? LOL
