Buff, NY Clarence Winter Fest 2011 -- Back on a Sunday

Yes, we're still up for early pick-up.
It probably won't be necessary for you to drive separately, as everything will fit in my van. The sound equipment will nicely secure R2 when it load out in the correct order, something not really possible if I couldn't pre-deliver on Saturday. We'll just have to go back to my place first after the event and offload stuff packed around R2, then take you home.
Same amount of driving, but with less vehicles.

 

You can park briefly in the circle or behind the house to off-load, and then park as close as you can find a space. There generally isn't reserved parking for vendors/exhibitors that I'm aware of.
If there are table supplies or dreaded banner(s) you want delivered the day before, I'll get them from you and take them Saturday.

 

Well just found out that I MAY have to work Open House for school this Sunday since I'm on the PTA board. I am trying to see if I can weasel out of it.... I will know for sure sometime this week. Even if I have to, I may be able to make part of the later afternoon... will keep you posted.

 

Sorry I didn't respond to this earlier, I can't come this weekend, I am restarting work.

 

My fiancée and I are going to try and make it to this. Is there anything else I can do to help?

 

Ok, I have a job interview in Williamsville at 10:00 but will be bringing my gear with me, so I can head to Clarence Winter Fest after. I should hopefully be able to get there around 11 or 11:30. I may hang out in armor for a couple hours and then try my luck at some crafts and such!

 

I'm going to a couple friends' play on Sunday at 2, so I don't know if I'll be able to make it. And if I can, it would only be for about an hour.

 

Where IS that picture? Wookie spotted on Hoth...

 

I will definitely be there with Xander. He's very excited and has been very well behaved knowing that he needed to inorder to come with me. He'll be appearing as Rex. I may work the table for a change.

 

Looking forward to it but still not sure what to expect. I don?t have a costume or anything, so I hope I don?t feel like a fish out of water. Again I?m still new around here.

 

Working my life away, so I'm out for this.

Everyone, it was another stellar effort. You all stepped up 110% for the 4th consecutive year.

Special thanks to Kathleen and Norma for making our first crafting experience a rousing success. The kids cleaned us out, making over 30 lightsabers and as many or more communicator bracelets. Wow!

Thanks also to Bill Richau (Elaine's hubby) and Chris Ballard for technical equipment support above and beyond the call of duty. Our presentation never sounded so dynamic!!

Bryan, great job leading the 2nd presentation.

Too many to acknowledge, and I'm wiped.

Great Event everyone! Thanks to Larry and John for showing up at 9am and staying all day long!!! Wow.

The costumes were really impressive. Great job leading the second presentation, Bryan. The crafts looked great Janice, Norma, and Kathleen.

Great event yesterday!!! I have so much fun hanging out with you guys and especially watching the kids (big and small...) enjoying the events. Special thank you to Larry for providing a transport for Artooii, and to Rex for keeping a tight security around the droid. He is, after all, carrying very sensitive technical data for a certain space station. Good job, Trooper!

Very fun time! Thanks guys. What was funny, was that Gil asked if anyone wanted to go to Bozannas pizza, and I said I couldnt go. When my dad picked me up, he picked up a pizza from there. Talk about irony

 

That pizza is just too good to pass up when you're right there!
