Buff, NY Clarence Winter Festival

We have been contacted to appear at the Clarence Winter Festival on Sunday, February 11, 2007, from 11:00 AM - 6:00 PM.

Please post here if you are interested in participating and what character you will be coming as.

Events will be held both outdoors and indoors at the Clarence Town Hall -- we would be only indoors with reserved areas to change / stow gear / unmask and rest.
There will be bands playing throughout the day, alternating with a magician.
Therefore, we have discussed doing the following activities:

In general standing around and or milling around to take pictures.
In between bands and other acts, perhaps we can:
Perform the Battle Of The Heroes Duel (times posted on a board)
and / or
Run a session or two of the Jedi Academy (as done in Disneyland and C3).

Festival organizers are working on flat rate funding from sponsors.

I am in pending a babysitter, most likely out of costume, but as a jedi if needed.

Sure. We may need to hem the robe a little for you. It shouldn't be a problem.

 

I am IN as Dark Anakin and the duel (gotta get to work again Marty, if you can come)! Rob will depend on work (not his weekend off) and will be in as his new costume (if it is done) or Royal Guard. Little Leia is available as well.

 

I can put in a request off.

 

I'll be buying my costume material and making the patterns this month,
but I don't think Torryn Far will be ready in time.

I'll still have 40 copies of the Jedi Academy booklets for the event though!

 

I will practice with you as a backup for the duel Lisa... Call me or PM me.
