Not sure if this has been mentioned (I can't be bothered trawling through the whole thread) but I've just finished watching these 3 videos, which are brilliant:
'Star Wars Begins'
'Returning to Jedi'
Filled with lots of good stuff
A few pictures of General Crix Madine from deleted scenes from the space battle
Apparently he was filmed doing all the Admiral Ackbsr scenes/lines in case the AA costume didn't work as they hoped. It did so Madine's scenes weren't used
from the Star Wars instagram
Good heavens! What's going on with his nose?
I think that's the prosthetic makeup under his eyes/on his cheek.
i had an autographed david prowse vader pic as a kid. i have no idea what happened to it.

How is it that almost 40 yrs later there is still alot of unreleased stuff? It wasn't like everyone knew ANH would become a multi-generational phenomenon. Yet, Lucasfilm kept a ton of records spanning concept art, actual production, storyboards, deleted scenes, etc.
Just want to say thanks to everyone posting images and videos in this thread! Excellent information, I feel like I'm looking through a museum!
"I felt a great disturbance in the Force, as if millions of voices suddenly cried out in terror and were suddenly silenced. I fear something terrible has happened."
He's like not even the same person in this picture. He looks like... Rick McCallum!
What is that robot behind him?
It's RX-24, the pilot of the Disney Star Tours ride.
This thread is a temple.
Lest we forget what years these photos are from...
i know but still.
No wonder Peter had bad knees...bad chairs!!
hahaha that gadget in his hands looks more dated than beepers.
I think it's because SW was Georges pet project...so he kept as much as he could. If the series took off, then he would have it all for the next episode, or reference or whatever, but even if it didn't he would still have all of the memories of when his baby made it to the big screen.
