Something just occurred to me - all the clones have got a New Zealand accent, the same as Jangos - why? Accents aren`t inherited, they`re LEARNT! You don`t automatically have the same accent as your biological parent(s), so why bother?

These are clones. The older ones look just like Jango so therefore they should sound like him.

No, a son of an English guy could look exactly like his father but if he`s been raised by an American family, he`s gonna have an American accent, yes?

All it would take is for Jango's voice to be the one the Kaminoans used to teach baby clones to talk. This could have been done any number of ways. It makes sense for the Kaminoans to do this since basic with a strong Concord Dawn accent is not their native language. How weird would it sound for all the clones to sound like Taun We?

clone commaders who were probably taught by jango himself probably are involved in the younger clones combat education , so they are exposed to jangos concord dawn accent from an early age

Jango was involved in a lot of the clones' combat training. It makes sense that many of them would pick up his accent.

I thought about that, but wasn't he just the training program designer for the regular troopers. Didn't he only teach the ARCs and Jango merely designed the training programs for the army in general?

solo77 hit the nail on the head.

We see the face of Jango Fett in ROTS, for the purposes that they were trying to convey, why not impart the accent as well?

They shouldn't even have exactly the same face either. Same scars and hairstyles?

This is cloning at the most simplistic.

that's a good point, the army of 1.2 million identical clones, might seem some what weird if they talked like Taun We... I mean normal clone armies sound like they're from new zealand[face_laugh]

    Actually, its learned, not learnt.

As far as clones and accents, it's a movie, not real science, so it doesn't really matter nor does it detrack from enjoying the movie.

That's actually kind of a good point. Little baby Jango clones would be learning accents from their surroundings rather than the route cloner. Maybe it's just a Mandalorian thing.

What? They're clones! Of course their hair would grow the same and their faces would be the same. Dunno what you're talking about scar wise though.

It's a movie... there for they have the same actor who played Jango also play the clones... it must have slipped there mind.
