Clone Wars 2 to air March 26th!

TUCWS reports that the second season of Clone Wars will air March 26th, based on a report from the New York Post.


January 9, 2004 -- CARTOON Network is putting the finishing touches on the next set of "Star Wars" 'toons, the newest and coolest editions to the "Star Wars" saga.
The first of 10 new episodes of "Star Wars: Clone Wars" - each between three and five minutes long - is slated to debut on March 26. The first batch aired last November.

The epic micro-series takes place in between "Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones" and the new movie that's still in production, which won't be released until 2005.

But "Clone Wars" is the latest highly stylized action 'toon from animation maestro, Genndy Tartakovsky, the creative force behind the network's cult hit "Samurai Jack."

One of the most attractive elements of the 'toon is that many of the episodes focus on a group of minor characters, a rarity in "Star Wars" mythology which usually tells sweeping, galaxy-sized stories.

Well network sweeps usually start in April and go into May, so this isn't too surprising. Season 1 aired during the fall sweeps for TCN.

So Season 2 will run from March 26 - April 8, with perhaps another marathon on April 9?

Uh, no it doesn't. Ep3 comes out approx 25th May 2005, not March.

I've always seen it as two seasons. It's one series, but two seasons.
