I just finished reading Dark Rendezvous and wanted to read another Clone Wars novel in waiting for ROTS. I have also read Shatterpoint. Which one should I read next?

Jedi Trial's pretty light reading, and not all that great. It's fast, and essentially one battle, and that's it. Go with Hard Contact, Labyrinth of Evil or Medstar.

Labyrinth of Evil is a really fun read and leads directly into ROTS.

If you like good characters, read Medstar.

Never been much of a reader but Hard contact and Vector Prime were x-mas gifts. Once you start it was extremely difficult to put them down.
Hard contact got me started and now within 5 months time I have completed New Jedi Order series. Unforunately I have to wait for Dark Nest Trilogy. I was hoping more stories with Jaina and Jag, Jacen and Danni and maybe even a love interest with Jaina and Kyp.

    OOOPPPs!!!! Sorry way off track;)
    Start with Hard Contact.

LOE was a very good book and passed it on to my dad so he'll be ready for ROTS.
It's a good read especially if you like some combat. to me it seems that you can understand how Anakin slips to the dark side.
Can't wait to see the movie, my imagination is running wild here. I can't wait to start talking about it because I have tons of questions.

Got my ticket ready:) Are you ready?

Have you read The Cestus Deception? Just got for my b-day and about to start.

"Have you read The Cestus Deception?"

No. I was looking at it last night at Wal-Mart but I am really poor at the moment so I decided to wait. Is it any good?

I thought the Medstar books were the best Clone Wars novels I've read so far. I'm currently in Yoda:DR, which I am extremely liking as of late, and I haven't read LOE yet, but I thought Medstar had a great story. Maybe it's b/c the characters are mostly new, and Obi-Wan, Anakin, Padme, Mace, and all of the familiar faces aren't really in it. I love the lead characters, of couse, it's just that I seem to really get into the EU characters because I feel that it gives the Clone Wars a feeling of a real war with many different viewpoints, and I leave the leads for the movies.
I personally had a hard time enjoying Jedi Trial. But like the others said Hard Contact was very enjoyable, and although some didn't like it, I thought Cestus Deception had good characters.
If you just want something to lead into RotS though, I would suggest starting with Yoda:DR and then LOE. Hopefully LOE is a good tie-in with no continuity problems. Can you tell I hate continuity errors??

It was good. Getting into the minds of the clonetroopers made for a good subplot.

Right on. Good Clone Trooper books are Cestus and Hard Contact...and I think the begining of Medstar had a cool clone.

    Must Reads:
    Labyrinth of Evil
    Dark Rendezvous
(Also: Republic comics, heavily referenced in LoE)

    Also worth reading:
    Medstar
    Shatterpoint

    Okay:
    Cestus Deception
    Hard Contact

    Not that great:
    Jedi Trial

Cestus has a very mixed impression with most people. Some people loved it, some hated it, while some others thought that it was okay.
