Canada Clone Wars cartoon shorts in Canada?

Does anybody know if we're going to get the Clone Wars cartoons in Canada?

 

We have a similar thread here. As of yet, I don't think anyone has heard whether or not we will be getting them.

 

DirecTV will get it, being the American dish.

 

Yeah - but what I want to know is, with this resurgence in 80's cartoons as of late (transformers, he-man, etc.)

When are we going to be treated to a brand-spanking new Ewoks cartoon?

 

Forget about the clones I want to see a new Droids cartoon !!!!

Dont you remember the Droids cartoon from the 80s dude...

 

I never liked Nelvana's Droids cartoon.

I could never get past Threepio with facial features that moved.

 

My problem with the droids cartoon was always the secondary characters. Never liked them. Always was wondering where the heck was Luke, Leia, Han et al.

Personally, I think a cartoon ala the Ewoks but featuring the Gungans on Naboo would be great for Sat. morning.

But ewoks... get a couple of Japanese studios working on it. We'd have some great shows.

I remember them. Sorry Mike, I misinterpreted what you said. It was under the impression that there would be a new Droids cartoon. That had me a little confused....

Hey, maybe for the 25th anniversary of the 80's cartoon, Lucas will release "Ewoks: The Special Edition"?

Long ago, before hearing about the Clone Wars cartoon, I had heard rumour of a Rogue Squadron animated series being conceptualized. I thought (and still think) it would be totally awesome, and imagine it being similar to the Starship Troopers series.

Of course, once the rumours of Clone Wars started popping up, this one vanished. Has anyone heard anything more about the possibility of an animated series featuring a starfighter pilot squadron?
