Though I figured it was a nickname, I still checked "Pete" on wookieepedia to see if he was really a SW character. What do you have against Jefferson Starship?

Oh, wait. I could answer that for you.

    This can't be said enough.

To be honest, that's just an inherent weakness of the television medium. Every medium has strengths and weaknesses; for television, you of course have the advantage of visuals, but you have a rather strict time limit to meet. So, where a novel can describe everything if it wants, with TV the viewer has to assume things happen off screen, unless you want every storyline to be a long arc that shows a lot of the mundane.

But I haven't seen the episodes in question, so I don't know how it's done. I'm generally not impressed with TCW writing, but I'm willing to give them the benefit of the doubt in some areas.

Bingo. It's one thing to lament that some elements aren't written better, but it's another to accuse them of inherently not making sense.

I know, right? Just look at those feet! They look nothing like real Ithorian feet! This is an outrage!

Does...does he actually have flowers growing out of his head?

Maybe I need to start watching TCW again...

Oh cool, they're doing a crossover arc with Pokemon now? Though I would have picked a cooler Gen2 monster than Sudowoodo.

    :p

First thing I thought of when I saw this:

He's just like Fluttershy! Shy, rather quiet, wants to be a tree!

I think he wants to make like a tree and get out of there.

(I know, I know, it's make like a tree and leave, I sound like a damn fool when I say that)

I know, I know--you're thinking, how could the episode possibly live up to the awesomeness of this image?

Well, sir, I am here to tell you that it does.

Why are people so up in arms about this? It's goofy, yeah, but in the good Star Warsy kind of way. Have you guys actually watched the episode?

You should apply to yourself GG.

I mean "a kid's costume in a circus is outlandish? How stupid!"

No, I've been avoiding TCW for a while now. Just seeing that image makes me wonder what of stupidity is going around in TCW these days.

There is a lot about TCW that inherently doesn't make sense though. For instance one week we had Adi Gallia dying, the next week she was sitting on the Jedi Council - And yes I understand the reason why that happened, but it still does not equal "making sense".

There are numerous other examples of this. Sure we can make it work for us after the fact. Make up this reason or that to try and squeeze it all together in to something that is more seemingly more whole, but thats secondary to the point. It should make sense the first time through.

Not that I think the sense stuff had anything to do with last week's episode, one that I enjoyed, but one doesn't have to look very hard to find all kinds of stuff that is a little, or a lot, off.

Well, its a great episode. Without giving away too much, they are forced to go under cover as traveling acrobats - the outlandish costumes are necessary so they won't be recognized.

But seriously, going around doing nothing but posting images to show how disgusted you are with someone daring to like the show or accusing them of trolling when they disagree with you is more than a little rude.

You obviously misread my posts because I am disgusted with what TCW is doing, and not disgusted of what others think of TCW. ;)

Yet you almost always quote someone liking something about an episode when you make your response. That creates a strong connection between your post and its disgust to the opinion of the person you are quoting.

And in any case, it is hard to see an accusation of trolling because someone liked something you didn't any other way.

Nope, it's not against their opinion. It's because I can't see myself liking it nor could I see myself enjoying the crap that is dancing younglings in costumes...

I've already predicted that Ahsoka is going to find the planet Hoth and discover the location of a preexisting Echo Base.
