First thing I thought of when I saw this: He's just like Fluttershy! Shy, rather quiet, wants to be a tree!
I think he wants to make like a tree and get out of there. (I know, I know, it's make like a tree and leave, I sound like a damn fool when I say that)
I know, I know--you're thinking, how could the episode possibly live up to the awesomeness of this image? Well, sir, I am here to tell you that it does.
Why are people so up in arms about this? It's goofy, yeah, but in the good Star Warsy kind of way. Have you guys actually watched the episode?
No, I've been avoiding TCW for a while now. Just seeing that image makes me wonder what of stupidity is going around in TCW these days. Jedi younglings dance routine 101
There is a lot about TCW that inherently doesn't make sense though. For instance one week we had Adi Gallia dying, the next week she was sitting on the Jedi Council - And yes I understand the reason why that happened, but it still does not equal "making sense". There are numerous other examples of this. Sure we can make it work for us after the fact. Make up this reason or that to try and squeeze it all together in to something that is more seemingly more whole, but thats secondary to the point. It should make sense the first time through. Not that I think the sense stuff had anything to do with last week's episode, one that I enjoyed, but one doesn't have to look very hard to find all kinds of stuff that is a little, or a lot, off.
Well, its a great episode. Without giving away too much, they are forced to go under cover as traveling acrobats - the outlandish costumes are necessary so they won't be recognized. But seriously, going around doing nothing but posting images to show how disgusted you are with someone daring to like the show or accusing them of trolling when they disagree with you is more than a little rude.
You obviously misread my posts because I am disgusted with what TCW is doing, and not disgusted of what others think of TCW.
Yet you almost always quote someone liking something about an episode when you make your response. That creates a strong connection between your post and its disgust to the opinion of the person you are quoting. And in any case, it is hard to see an accusation of trolling because someone liked something you didn't any other way.
Nope, it's not against their opinion. It's because I can't see myself liking it nor could I see myself enjoying the crap that is dancing younglings in costumes...
I've already predicted that Ahsoka is going to find the planet Hoth and discover the location of a preexisting Echo Base.
Yeah, its a little cheeky, but really GG wasn't accusing anyone of trolling with the image - he was creatively asking if the user was serious or not. Personally, I think its a little rude to break out the accusations about GG's posting habits, but thats just me.
Having not seen the episode, I'm okay with some silliness in a kids show, particularly with episodes starring young children. I definitely don't enjoy everything TCW does- I despise two of the fan favorites, Cad Bane and Hondo- but they have been improving steadily. The season opening wasn't bad at all; some writing hiccups brought on by the breakneck pace (which, as I've already noted, is unavoidable), but overall quite promising (though maybe it's because they finally saw fit to give Obi-Wan a Crowning Moment of Awesome). That said, I would feel much better about saying they're improving if they wouldn't do petty things like kill Adi Gallia again. Numerous ways to get around that.
TCW doesn't make sense to me, because I am still stuck on the old multimedia project timeline, which is the only Clone Wars timeline I care about.
I am sorry. It has been a frustrating day for me, and I posted rashly. Though I do want to say that I would take this "crap" over the original Clone Wars cartoon any day...well, except the Grievous introduction episode of course.
I do that all the time, don't sweat it I like aspects of both shows, though I do think the quality of TCW(with one or two exceptions) has been in steady decline over the past three Seasons. I liked the goofy kids costumes in this one, but then I love Bombad Jedi as well so that might explain some of that.
