It's definitely the same sort of "developed sinkhole" as seen in the 1313 trailers. No explicit mention yet, I don't think. But it definitely has the same look and feel.

It also has some police officers who look like the ones from Bounty Hunter.

Wow... while I'm sure it's a different facility (a Republic courtroom of sorts), my favorite thing about the trailer is what seems to be VERY clear homages to the imperial palace. Red Guards, Tarkin, Coruscant Guards everywhere... Kato Neimoidia, Imperial like Thrones... Talk of removal of the Jedi from the military...

And yeah, Republic Military logo everywhere. Not exactly subtle imagery, is it?

We're getting closer and closer to the end. If I didn't know better I'd actually say this was the final arc. I really doubt they'll keep this going more than another 2 seasons. At least not as a "Clone Wars" show...

The Jedi funerals must be those killed in the explosion. It all makes sense now.

And still no Oppo. His campaign on Saleucami must have lasted half the war...

I want more Ki-Adi-Mundi. I still remember with much fondness the original CWAS that showed Ki and a group of Jedi taking on Grevious. For you younger folks, this was back during a time when Grevious wasn't a total chump and a joke of a character. He was actually evil and ominous at the time.

Anyways, I always loved Ki-Adi-Mundi's heroic battle against Grevious on Hypori. He fought hard, expected to die, but accepted it as a Jedi should. Obviously he was saved, but I loved the way Ki-Adi-Mundi just kept fighting.

I am very intrigued. Who are they and why do they look so awesome?

Sun Guard? Palpatine used those. And they wore masks. Don't think they used lightsabers though.

Trying to read my mind? ;)

Though the "throne" that Palpatine was on is identical to his chair as chancellor in AOTC and ROTS.

While clearly not the same facility, this is very much the kind of homage to which I am referring.

Was just re-playing TIE earlier in the week (it's a yearly ritual). :)

And urgh -- whoever recorded that video was using adlib sound. ughhhhh. Gotta use General MIDI at the very least, though the game sounds best with Gravis. Where's the resonance and the grandeur? Adlib makes it sound like some lame arcade game.

I used to replay XWA every couple years, but it's been a dog's age at this point.

Especially given the double-bladed sabers, Jedi Shadows, perhaps? Some kind of elite Temple guard, if nothing else.

    I dun get it.

Personally, I can't help but think they are jedi shadows. But maybe that is because I always pictured Shadows as being vaguely ninja like.
    Edit: I agree R_Zion.

Nothing 1984 going on here. Not at all.

Yeah, Juggernaughts. Those have been criminally underused.

Also, maybe it is just the lighting, but I think that warship is imperial gunmetal gray instead or republic red and white.

Overall: really makes me think of Republic Commando.

Wow, the Republic's changing fast. Every shot of Coruscant in that trailer screams Empire, right down to Palpatine sitting in his throne flanked by royal guards. The shot of the military converging around the red flags was especially powerful. I have a feeling Palpatine's going to make a major power grab in this arc.

Huh, Tarkin's at the Jedi funeral.

"There are going to be Jedi who disappoint us".... Not quite sure how to take that; a Jedi goes dark/rogue and they go after them:confused:

Didn't you guys see the other preview?

A Jedi who hates the Clone Wars turns traitor, resulting in the explosion... or at least that's the official story that Anakin and Ahsoka are going on when they start this story, anyways.

Though it seems like Ahsoka will be framed.

    Ventress is also involved somehow.

I'm sure the arc will end on at least one "happy" note, with the result being that the Jedi stay on in the military despite public outcry... of course, anyone who's seen ROTS should know that this will be the Jedi's downfall.

So Ahsoka is blamed for...whatever, excommunicated, and hooks up with Ventress.

Right? Just my read, but it seems pretty clear to me.

Yeah, pretty much. I would probably phrase it differently, though... :p

I'm interested. TCW always has cool trailers, but after the Maul arc, I'm hopeful about this arc.
