Is it expected that all 20 episodes will make it to one DVD? (possibly right before EP3 comes out?) Or, might it be two releases, season 1 then season 2?

Any official info yet? Or insider rumors?

This has to happen, especially for non-cable acolytes such as my self. I wonder, too, if Nelvana/Lucasfilm have any plans for the Ewoks and Droids cartoons to be put into DVD form?

Surely they will release it in march or april '05... just in time for III. we won't see it untill after the Clasic Trilogy release though...

I've heard somewhere that Clone Wars will be released on DVD late summer '04...but it's probably just rumors...

I think that they'll put an extra episode in to boost sales but that's just me

A 'making of' feature would be nice, showcasing the process through conception, design, production and broadcast.

Probably right after or right before Epi-III

That's a good idea. But this quote from an interview with Paul Ens leads me to believe that it would premiere on Hyperspace:

Q: Are there any plans to eventually offer high-end, original Star Wars
content (along the lines of original Clone Wars or other EU cartoons or short films) at Hyperspace?

    A: There are plans, yes.

I'm hoping that the rumors of a Summer release turn out to be true. Maybe they'll release it around the same time as the OT DVD's.

Or include it in some form. If not in the DVDs themselves, some stores may package them with it.

Since it was a 4 month wait between the 1st and 2nd seasons of the series I would expect another 4 month wait for the DVD. So I predict it will be out somethime in July 2004.

I would expect more than 4 months to put together the DVD. My money would be on a fall 2004 release in time for Christmas.

If a Clone Wars DVD was coming out this summer, I would think we'd have heard about it by now.

    My guess - November 2004.

I hope it comes out on DVD because if it does with this and the OT coming to DVD a long with ROTK...well I will have a lot to hold me over until Ep3. :)

I hope it comes out before the OT dvds.

I reckon it'll be a Christmas release. Seems sensible.
