You're right Jobo. Sadly, my newly found title doesn't give me unlimited editing time :(

I think I read somewhere the Clone Wars cartoon's second season would be in March 2004.

Sounds to me like they could release both CW cartoon seasons on DVD in November 2004, which would be just in time for an Ep. 3 trailer ;)

Lucas should hire me for all his marketing.

I'm pretty sure the latest Insider mentions the second season. I would double check, but my copy is an hour away at the moment.

The "second season" is just the second half of the already-ordered number of episodes.

It's been said in the past that the first half would show in November and the other half in the spring, so they're probably just calling them seperate seasons the same way Stargate SG-1 and Farscape were called "new seasons" by Sci-fi Channel earlier this year due to their mid-season break scheduling.

I would love a DVD with all the episode on it.
Like people have said if ther is a "2nd season" in March next year an Episode 3 trailer/ few minutes behind the scenes thing[ Like LOTR put on the theatrical releases of TTT and FOTR] would be awesome.
    Other features- Making of Doco
    - Commentary by artists/writers on selected episodes[like on the animatrix DVD]
    - A feature on the Clone Wars discussing the comics, books and game(s).
    - A "blooper reel" like how at the end of "Ants" they animate some funny stuff over the credits.
    - A stills gallery showing the evolution of characters or scenes.

If these are included this could be an awesome DVD.

Be funny if they made an animated trailer for Episode 3, thus requiring no finished footage and only storyboards from the film...

What makes the Animatrix DVD different from any other one? The ability to play all eps back-to-back?

I think that there will be a DVD, mainly because of the popularity of the Animatrix and stuff like that

I price matched the Toys R Us price with Walmart and they actually gave me several copies for $8 a piece with no hastle.

    :D

Also, why in the heck would anyone think they would include these shorts on the ep III dvd?

Why do you think thats such a stretch?

I've always thought that they would throw the shorts on the Ep-III DVD. I think they'd throw it in with a little synopsis of the clone wars books and comics. Its the only coverage of the gap between AOTC and Ep-III I'm sure that causual fans that don't necessarly buy every comic, book, etc might like to read and watch that. Plus its basicaly free advertising for the other branches of LFL which will carry on what ever is left of SW in the future. Seems like a no brainer to me. ;)

I don't have cable, so I will be watching the Clone Wars DVD when it comes out; also, I agree with those who say that having to specifically tune in to a three-minute show is a hassle - I'll wait to see it all at once, when it will be easier to follow anyway.

Don't forget that the series will be online at TOS if you're a hyperspace member
