Full Series Clone wars Easter eggs in Rebels

I agree, season two. Right now, it's wayyy to early to reveal it.

 

As it should. Filoni would be doing a diservice, by not uniting the two shows and creating his on canon. Id honestly love to see some of the background OT characters be major players in the Rebels show.

 

A new call back came in the last episode call to action and it was the Gun ships used in the season five final.

 

In retrospect, the Utapau murder mystery arc released just before Spark of Rebellion aired was a precursor to Rebels.

Master-Padawan bonding and angst.
Pinstriped Pau'ans, including dodgy ones.
Jedi corpses in storage.
Ventilation ducts.
Kyber crystals.

Releasing it was clearly a no-brainer for Lucasfilm.

 

I wish completing it had been a no-brainer.

 

It seems so far this is exactly what is happening. I like what Filoni is doing. I dont think everyone from TCW will show up in Rebels, but if Rebels can present the perfect mix of TCW story telling with the OT environment. Many see Rebels as its own thing not tied to TCW. Its interesting to see some fans are only fans of TCW or Rebels, but we can be fans of both shows.

 

So since we now know basically that at least 3 TCW characters will show up in rebels being Ashoka Hondo and Cad Bane

 

Ahsoka herself is an easter egg lol.

Cool. I hope we get to see him and adult Boba interact with each other. Would love to see what their relationship is like as adults.

 

And we have already seen him in season one as art.

 

I think they are staying clear of Boba in Rebels since that is territory for the spinoff film. That's also why they decided not to finish the TCW arc featuring Bane and Boba.

 

Damn. I had hoped that they didn't complete that arc because of time. Since they had to move on to rebels and doing another 4 episode arc along with the Yoda and jar jar arcs would have been cut into production on Rebels. Still it will be interesting to see if Bane has any history with Sabine since she has art of both him and Embo in her room.

 

Bane has just as many fans as Ahsoka. Cad Bane WILL be back.

 

Seeing as no one else has mentioned it, the gunships is 'Call to Action' were originally from 'To catch a Jedi', and the capital ship in 'Rebels Resolve' was originally from 'Grievous Intrigue'. They were both just repainted.

Going back to more untold Clone Wars episode elements (from the Celebration panel), we have Ahsoka's would-be Season 7 bike ending up as Kanan's, and Ventress' Season 7 ship the Banshee showing up as... TBD. But promised by Filoni as the same model but different ship to be used by someone else on Rebels later on:
