This should have been a expected announcement, The Clone Wars Series is finally ending, all and all, the Antimated series itself had more to offer fans in 30 minute clips than the entire Prequel Trilogy did in the whole of three entire feature length films.

But with all the new and exciting Star Wars to come, some things would have to go, and this series harkoned back to the Prequels, something Im Sure LucasFilm now wants to pull away form in order to focus on the Post ROTJ ERA ......................

With that said, and the news that a new antimated show based on a previous untouched time in the Star Wars timeline is in production. I hope the new Antimated Series is based on Han, Luke and Leias adventures in the years following Jedi, the Series could lead us directly or indirectly into Episode 7.

As for the Clone Wars, They should bring that series to a close by filling in some key plot holes that have been in question since Revenge of the Sith ended .....................

1.) How did Sidious turn the Clones into Mindless slaves who exist only to follow orders when they worked for the Jedi for years who taught them to be more independent.

2.) Who was Syfo Dias ???

3.) Why did the Jedi not Sense Anakins Rage and Anger before the Fall ???

    4.) What of Akosha's Fate ???

Anyway, it would be a nice touch to end that show with the Separtist Fleet gearing for the Jump to Corustant to Take them all by Surpise, all except for Palpatine of Course...............

This one is easy. The clones were programmed to follow Palpatine's orders without hesitation.

    A bad idea. :p

In all seriousness, I think that GL wanted it to be Sido-Dias, or something similar (wasn't it like that in the novelization?) to make it clear that it was Sidious/Palpatine, but changed it between drafts to actually be a separate person which is why no one ever remarked, "Who the hell is that?"

The official answer is that Palpatine and/or the Dark Side itself clouded the Jedi's vision and made it harder for them to use their powers. Of course, in the movie's dialogue, Mace actually says he can feel the conflict in Anakin, which is why he has him stay in the Temple (bad idea), so it's more that the Jedi are just utterly incompetent when it comes to handling a gifted youngster who has a hangup about the people he loves leaving his life.

I'm not sure that learning her fate would actually be satisfying. Her exit was handled just about perfectly, and I'd rather be left wanting more than actually risk an unsatisfying resolution to her quest of self-discovery.

    That would be fitting.
