Uhh according to TV Guide its next week, the 21st that they start airing.

 

Yeah it's next week Moriah...LOL. The 22nd actually I think.

 

Oh, hell. My professor mentioned that it was Spring Break next week, so when I came home I looked at the calendar and thought the 21st was today.

Though I did check the Cartoon Network website and it does start the 21st, it's the first season DVD that comes out March 22nd. At least I still have one remaining brain cell left to process that much.

I saw a commercial for it on Cartoon Network. Very cool!! I especially loved Anakin and Obi-Wan's exchange:

"I won't fail you, Master."

"Don't fail yourself." Oooooooh!

I agree with Meri. I mean, I don't know exactly what got censored, but I'm sure I can imagine.

Personally I'd like a nice Aayala Secura but I don't remember them drawing her as nice as she really looks.

 

cartoons do no justice regarding the real hotness of some characters.
never the less they are fun to watch i cant wait

 

I agree. Tartakovsky has done quite well with the material so far.

His cartoon art style lends the series a kind of outrageousness(ex: Yoda and Mace blocking blaster bolts with their sabers while standing still and holding stony, frozen expressions) and deliberate over-theatricality(ex: when Asajj Ventress first reveals herself before her assault on the gladiators of the Ratattak sequence).

In the end, it works.

I'm looking forward to seeing this new season myself, of course. I wonder if we'll see snatches of the "Labyrinth of Evil" material there?

After all...both this season and the book are meant to be our lead-ins to Episode III...

I think I am gonna petition DHC to bring along a life-sized Quinlan Vos cardboard-cutout-thingy (confusing myself here ) and see how long until Meri is seen heading for the exit with a Vos under her arm

And I believe we get the third season before the US ... sometimes, just sometimes being 5 hours in the future is good

Though our DVD version is out May 9th, along with a gang of ewoks and droids dvds.

 

Ok, it's 1am on March 21st, which means the first episode airs in approximately 16 hours.

NOW I can start bouncing!

 

I'm going to miss it! Most worknights for me last past 9 pm.

Well, there better be more of both!

I wonder if I should tape all these, or just wait a few weeks for them to come out on DVD.

Just seen them on UK Toonami channel , very nice (won't go into the problems of why important EU stuff was ignored even when there was long enough between the seasons to sort it out, grrrr), but anyways the cartoon was fun

Oh, I forgot to say it was Chapters 21 and 22 today, and if it makes you feel better I had to wait all fecking day - allegedly the first showing was meant to be 8am, Toonami in the UK died at 7:50am lmao. I saw them at 6pm in the end. Videoed, but I may just watch them on Hyperspace in morning so I can watch and post on here

 

Will this new season be coming onto DVD soon?
