I had heard November..around the time of Ep III. Makes sense.

Sorry, I don't recall where I read that, but pretty certain it was at TFN.

I find it ridiculous that Episode 3 has been announced on DVD but the award winning Clone Wars has not been announced as it leads into the movie.

That's how seriously we take animation here in the states. Unless is CGI like the Pixar stuff.

Has there been a definite date given as to when we will be able to buy Clone Wars, Vol. II as opposed to just rumors about the date?

I don't have access to Cartoon Network. I have watched Vol. I several times, and since this is the only other thing besides the six live action movies that is considered actual GL canon (I ignore all other EU material), I am anxious to buy it.

December 6th is the American release.

The rest of the EU is just as canon as Clone Wars. Actually, some of it (Labyrinth of Evil) takes precedence over the cartoons.

The Clone Wars cartoon is the only thing which I have heard GL actually comment on and give story input into.

He gave more input into Labyrinth of Evil (which also tells of what was going on right up to the start of ROTS, but in far greater detail). The official explantion is that the description given in LoE is what "really" happened, whereas the cartoon is a "Holonet transmission" of the event, hence the cartoons exagurrations.

Well, he also wrote, executive produced, and directed some scenes for the two Ewok films in the 80's. Also, he wrote the story for the holiday special.
