Hey is there anyone who wants to do costumes that match the new clone wars movie?

I'm thinking of doing the new clone commander myself.

 

i wouldent mind ading some armor to my jedi outfit

 

I want to figure out how to make Lekku, then I'll make a new costume.

 

Aug 15 we are going as a group in costume to the Rainbow Cinema in Galleria mall for the opening of Clone Wars. Full details will be worked out this weekend.

Also our AT-ST will be going to the Rainbow Cinema 2 weeks before the movie starts for a display.

 

how are we getting it there? Is it going to be protected from the poking kids? Should we reenforce it before it goes?

 

Yes the neck needs repair so that it doesn't lean forward. As for people touching it the theater will have to put ropes around it. Thier insurance wouldn't want it to fall on someone.

 

What time is the movie being shown at? I've heard some theatres are doing a noon release. I've discovered that I may have to work that day, but a noon release should suit me fine.

 

Should I come early to the meeting? Bring any tools/equipment?

 

I don't think you need to be early but if you want to you can. tools that we need are red roberts screwdriver and paint brushes.
We need cardboard rolls like wrapping paper or paper towels, the one gun was damaged and most of it needs to be replaced.


Also the movie is looking like a noonish showing.

Maybe we can stick around after the movie for the evening showings too? Although I'd probably have to leave around 3:30.

 

I guess the kids from Glen cairn are able to make the afternoon opening I'll take John and Myself to one of the evening shows I guess

 

So the Clone Wars first show will be around 1:00 on the 15th. The exact time will be anounced on the 8th.

currently I am available any weekday between 12 and 3 (assuming I want to get any sleep, otherwise I'm available earlier) and most weekends, except this one coming up.

what time should we meet and where?

 

The movie starts around 1:00, we'll have the exact time in 2 days on the 8th.

I was thincking of going around 9:00 am. 4 hours of walking around and talking with people. The children from the Glen Cairn centre will be there around noon.

 

Here's the start time for the clone wars on Friday: 1:05 3:15 5:20 7:25 and 9:40.

The mall has definitely oked us to wander around in costume as long as we are not passing anything out or approaching people.

My plans are to show up at 9:00 am. wander around until noon. The last hour will be infront of the theater with the childern from the Glen Cairn centre till the 1:05 movie starts.
