I'm glad that Cad was invited out there. Talk about a lot of effort put into a costume, dang!

 

That doesn't look like the same Cad from Comic-Con. But he said he only had one episode as reference, which he examined framed by frame!

There was a Cad Bane at DragonCon, but I didn't get a good look at him. And there are so many photo sites, I don't know where to find the picture again (would be the D*Con parade). Anyway, I wonder if that would be the same guy from D*Con?

So, not the same guy. The hoses are not the same at all... among other things. So I wonder if that Cad Bane is an official LFL appearance costume?

 

To get you caught up until the season premiere next Friday, Cartoon Network will be airing a marathon on Sunday, 9/27 from 1-5 pm (during the meeting), with sneak peeks of Season 2 during the commercial breaks.

Just saw the Season One finale with Cade Bane - Padme with a lightsaber!

 

I would... but I'm already opening my home for a Stargate Universe series premiere party that night. Unfortunate that they're both premiering the same night; I'll probably end up watching CW the next day.

 

They're making another Stargate spin off? What happened with the Wraith and Atlantis and such I lost track after maybe the second season of Atlantis?

 

Atlantis was canceled last year, at the end of five seasons. I don't know what politics were going on between the producers and the network; personally I think the show had a lot of runway left. There is suppose to be a DVD movie (like the other SG-1 movies) coming sometime. But yes, there is a new series, Stargate Universe, starting next Fri.

As for what happened to Atlantis and the Wraith and all that... Wraith are still there. There were some advances against them, but they weren't wiped out/defeated. Occasional alternate enemies along the way, but Wraith remained the main ones. The end of the series wrapped with pne Wraith ship getting ahold of a ZPM and the coordinates to Earth and coming here. Atlantis was flown back to defend Earth; they destroyed the ship but were forced to land... just outside of the Golden Gate, actually. The end left the city sitting there under cloak for the time being. So if you look out of the bay someday and think you see something for a second...

 

Mmm... interesting... So instead of the Pegasus galaxy now... they're gonna do the WHOLE UNIVERSE?! That's A LOT of vacuum to cover... lol

 

Season 2: Rise of The Bounty Hunters premieres tonight with two episodes back-to-back!

 

Good episodes. I especially liked the zero gravity scene - nicely done choreography on that.

 

Yeah, I believe it is. He also did the Clone Wars event at the Dodger game over the weekend and threw out the first pitch!

 

Need to see it.
BTW, do they get a chance to fart in this episode and battle the gremlins ?

No, different people, different costumes. The Dodgers Cad Bane outfit is the same one at the CW Press Junket. It's the official LFL made costume. The person wearing the LFL one you guys actually know. I'll leave it at that.

Slightly off-topic, but watching Dancing With The Stars, Dale pointed out how singer/contestant Mya looks surprisingly like a dead ringer for Ahsoka! Just check out her facial features. Wow! Scary!
