Looks like I cannot get off work early, so I am not going out to the CDA with the 501st.

So, save a spot for me on Thursday night as I won't get there till at least 11:30pm.

I got my ticket. Made sure to check it was Theatre 1.

I will also be aiming for 11:30.

To clarify my opionion earlier, this movie was planned as a pilot for the TV show, and then they decided it was strong enough to tweak into a motion picture release.

 

It's strange, but I've honestly got very little interest at all in seeing this. It just seems so weak, and not very Star Wars at all. Also, I don't give a frak about Anakin or whatever stupid hotyoungalienchick they're giving him as an apprentice. This film just furthers the misconception that Jedi are cool :\

I ended up liking Ashoka more than I thought I though. Anakin's charactorization bugged me more. I was expecting him to pitch a fit over having to help a Hutt slaver, but he didnt.

I'd say it was pretty good at capturing the feel of the other Clone Wars cartoon.

 

We were going to, but we totally spaced it, for some reason we were thinking Friday night, oops.

The feel of the Clone Wars cartoon, but not Star Wars in general? Because that honestly wouldn't surprise me at all.

 

Missed story opportunity in my opinion. I have not seen it yet (figure it is more of a renter than a movie theatre viewing) but it surprises me that the Hutts take more of a stage in the storyline, given Anakin's history.

I kind of have the feeling it will be like the animated "Droids" and "Ewoks" series way back when. I'm not feeling to jazzed about this movie either. Perhaps some of the movie goers can give a little review highlighting their likes or dislikes. Might inspire some of us.

The captured picture was taken in the lobby of the theatre we went to Clone Wars at here in Madison. The other inside said theatre.
