I haven't read any of the Bourme novels but I liked the movies.

I mean he fought a guy who had a knife and beat him up using his fists and a PEN.
I don't know what it's like to have amnesia, but it's probably frustrating. Especially when you're a rogue special agent.

The soundtrack is especially enjoyable.

 

Davak24 because I've already seen a giant ape climbing The Empire State Building numerous times, it wasn't riveting then, and I doubt it will be now

sure, great in 1933, 70's was a good time to remake it if they had to

2005 version made me want to slit my wrists and write song lyrics from evanescence with my blood on an iced river it was that bad.

Now don't get me wrong...I am not against remakes/reboots in principle. I like to see fresh takes on things, I'd love to see a reboot of Big Trouble In Little China or even The NeverEnding Story for example.

But Kong? we know the story, we know what it's about, there is no fresh take for it.
